Others are holding out for another Super Bowl down the road. The NFL did offer everyone $5,000 to just go away, which seems like a low offer to me. Not sure how many took that.

Cost of tickets was $600, that is close to 10 times that. You buy movie tickets and can't get into the movies, they likely won't give you anything more than a full refend. Get bumped from an airplane, you get at best double the value. (next flight and a voucher for another flight) Stubhub and others guarneetees are just a refund, nothing more. They didn't fly to Dallas just for the plane ride and food and a put up in a hotel. They went specifically for the game and once that was pulled from them they were sorta SOL on everything else. I don't know, $5,000 for that trip seems low to me. |
