Title: Re: Fins WIN the coin flip Post by: Cathal on February 24, 2012, 08:35:35 am I haven't been following the mock draft and all that, but does it really matter, 8th or 9th? What kind of advantage did we get?
Title: Re: Fins WIN the coin flip Post by: Phishfan on February 24, 2012, 09:10:04 am ^^^ Not much difference.
Title: Re: Fins WIN the coin flip Post by: Sunstroke on February 24, 2012, 10:22:30 am It may only be one slot, but I'd rather be one-up than one-down in the draft order. There really are some quality players in the top-10 for this draft class, and Miami looks to be in line for one of them. Title: Re: Fins WIN the coin flip Post by: Fins4ever on February 24, 2012, 10:23:50 am It could very well make a difference in mid to late rounds. Like someone else said, better 1 up than 1 down. Nice way to start 2012!!!

What kind of advantage did we get? Huge advantage, nope. Buf if we lost the toss and the team who won the toss (carolina) who is one spot ahead of us took the guy we wanted then yeah it would have been a big deal...lol Because we won the toss though it means in Rd 2 we have pick 42 and not pick 40. If we lost it would have been flipped obviously Title: Re: Fins WIN the coin flip Post by: masterfins on February 26, 2012, 01:01:08 pm Good Karma to start the year.
