- the emotional boost of surpassing Chicago and ending strong - an additional home game if you make the Eastern Conference Finals - Philly in the 1st round - Boston in the 2nd round The #2 seed likely gets you: - Knicks in 1st round - Indiana in 2nd round I think you can make an argument that the #2 seed is the easier path.
