Drew Brees should sign his franchise tag tender and tell them he plays for them this year, then they pay him 120% next year (per rule) or he is walking. Either way Drew wins. Right now that franchise is such a mess they need HIM more than he needs THEM!

I caught bits and pieces on ESPN radio tonight, and thought they were talking about 2 years pre Katrina and years after. If the statute has run out, if I were Goodell, I would simply fire the GM. Most is not all of the players on the roster now were not on the roster then, if they are really only talking about 2003-2004.
