I am torn on this one. I don't have an iPhone but they seem cool to me. Since I don't have one I can't really speak about it based on performance and can only base my opinion on perception. I think AT&T sucks but you aren't locked to them anymore so that doesn't factor in. I also don't care for the vibe given off by some iPhone users. I really can't explain it other than to say I feel they are "keeping up with the Jones".

I'm gonna rate it cool just based on concept and nothing else.

I still wear my hat backwards.  I don't care what these people say.

Is there any money in this? I just might consider it.

For me Phish,really hit some of my thoughts...I feel it has lost a lot of it's "cool" factor,for a multitude of reasons,and added to the fact they're everywhere,so many people have them...See enough of them,I start thinking douchey facebook tool.

I see the Ipad,carrying the "cool" banner for apple products...Sidebar,have the Ipad,and Iphone together = Fanboy "Cool" Lose the Cool banner in my eyes...

For $29.99, I might ask for a little more than dry-humping that iPhone. ;)

Anyways, I'm due for an upgrade in July.  I think I'm gonna conform to the iphone.  We'll see how it goes

Don't just do it because everyone else did.  I recommend you examine all phones, and pick the best for you.  If that's iPhone, then fine.  But I am just trying to advise that when you open your mind, there are many better options out there.

Oh trust me, I'm very open minded in general.  I've NEVER been one to do what's trendy/popular/etc.  I very much march to the beat of my own drum as they say.  I plan on shopping around, however I DO need a new ipod, as well as a new phone.  So I'm probably going to kill 2 birds with that one.
