Since I liked Lil B's key ring thread, here's another.

I have the George Costanza wallet.  It's hilarious how much stupid crap I have in there.  I'll detail it later.   I have trouble getting rid of the cards, though.  I will sometimes use them.  I've had multiple friends help me clean it out over the years, but it always build back up.

Short answer: way too much crap. Mainly too many receipts that I will never look at.

I have so little I almost wonder why I carry one. I have my debit card, credit card, my debit/credit for my health savings account, and my health insurance card.

Wallets are another thing that are way too bulky in my pocket.  I have a wallet (if thats what you wanna call it), its razor thin and does the basics.  My ID goes on one side and theres a few slots for credit cards on the opposite side with an elastic strap for cash.  Fits perfectly in my back pocket, super light-weight.  Mainly because I'm always broke.

Ohhh...ha! I'm one of those small women that carries a HUGE purse. Here's what's in there:

phone
makeup bag (a HUGE one with about 5 lipsticks,  a couple of mascaras, hand sanitizer, floss, lotion, etc.)
a spoon (no clue)
HUGE wallet
Nook
random hair accessories
a million receipts (why do I keep these)
umbrella
sunglasses

contact lense solution (travel one)

tea bags (I don't know)
second set of keys for the running store and the office

I need to clean this thing out.

I keep 2 credit cards, ID, 2 ATM cards, health insurance, car insurance, and a select few store loyalty cards (Best Buy, a couple local restaurants, etc).

Notice I didn't say "cash" - I rarely use cash anymore.

That's not a purse, --- it is carry-on lugguge. 

Yea, almost never have any cash. Not even $1, ha ha. I think the reason my lower back hurts is because I have a brick for a wallet, can't be good sitting on that thing.....

I don't carry a real wallet, just a leather thingy to hold license, ATM card, three credit cards, and an emergency $100 bill.

I broke my self of the receipt in the wallet thing when I bought a new soft  cocoa brown hand made wallet off of Etsy....When I pay with cash,or debit card,I pay,then put my wallet away,change and receipt goes in the pocket till I get home.When I get home I empty all my pockets,Change coins,go in the change jar,$5 bills go in the savings/emergency fund jar, receipts go in the receipt bin,the paper money goes back in my Wallet...Problem solved....

In my Wallet right now...I have two money slots,and a fold out piece plus 5-6 pockets,and a change zipper section,which I don't use...

Dave, don't you think you could clean that crap out?  You need an expired voters registration?  Batman Villains? That's all stuff you don't need to be carrying.

Take it from me, from a guy who lost his wallet 3 times in 2 months, you don't want to carry all that crap all over, some of it is irreplaceable (like the SS card) or unsafe (the bank account number).  If you lose that wallet, you could be royally F'ed.  I try to carry as little as humanly possible.  I leave my Hard Rock Players club card at home and only grab it when I'm going to Hard Rock.

I didn't know wallets could carry so much stuff.
I've tried going to smaller purses. It works for going out or whatever, but most of that stuff I carry is for work. You never know when you need to do your hair and makeup due to some client stopping by, etc. I'm in a SUPER casual office. Like, jeans, tee shirt, flip flops casual. However, if a client pops by I'll change. Sometimes. I've learned that most of the boat captains don't give a shit.

Seriously, you guys carry way to much shit around. There is little to no reason for much of this stuff to be in your wallet. Doesn't it affect you when you sit down? Dave, how in the hell does that thing fit in your front pocket? Is it elongated to look like a schlong?

I typically lock mine in my desk at work and it sits in the console in my truck when I drive. I try to sit with it in my pocket as little as possible. 

I would be the happiest woman in the world if I pulled a taco out of my purse.

I used to have one as well but AZ passed a law a few years ago that you can legally carry without a permit so I quit renewing mine. I carry a Ruger P94 40 cal.

I keep a Walther PPS 9mm in my house and a Walther PPS .40 as well as an S&W M&P15 PS rifle on my boat

Sorry I have Lots of questions about the gun,for my personal safety,I avoid rednecks around here that carry guns like that :D

Does that require any special permit? :o How big of rounds does that bad boy take? What do you shoot with something like that? I mean on a boat,What kind of maintenance does it need? I never carried a gun on my boat,and I'm hundreds of miles away from saltwater,because I was afraid of rust problems...

Considering I live in the Redneck Riviera, I gotta stay armed.  Especially when spring break rolls around and my students join thousands of others from different colleges for weeks of drinking, smoking weed, and rabble rousing.   :D

The gun takes .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO rounds and you don't need a special permit.  I clean it after each usage or every two months, whichever comes first.  Considering I keep it in a special carrying case in a cabinet on my boat, there is no chance of salt water damage.  I've shot sport fish with it such as sharks or marlins.  Also, its good for self defense if I ever get boarded by the Cuban Navy or any other people intent on causing me harm.   ;)

I always figured a shotgun was the best self defense weapon. I would think it especially effective on a rocking boat as that could really affect your aim.
