Title: James Jones GB WR could be on Miami's radar
Post by: MikeO on August 03, 2012, 04:18:59 pm
Alex Marvez reported this morning on the Joe Rose show. Says James Jones could be on his way out in GB because of his contract and all the WR depth they have. If he is cut Miami will go after him. If GB puts him on the trade block the Fins might offer a mid to low round pick to get him. Depends on how the GB WR battle plays out really.

Came out yesterday that Miami liked Braylon Edwards a lot and were impressed with his ability in the workout. But didn't sign him because they have been more impressed with Naanee in camp and are very happy with him.

I heard rumors of Kenny Britt.  I wouldn't mind James Jones.

Jesus Christ no, another guy who is being arrested or having run-in's with cops every other week!

Didn't Kenny Britt get busted for a DUI on an army base?

That's a special kind of stupid.

I saw this online like a month ago (so it may be missing the recent stuff), this is just from 2010

The Washington Post did a story recently where it just listed some of his incidents. Here is the excerpt.
Britt’s previous off-the-field problems included outstanding traffic warrants for false statements on his driver’s license application, a ticket for driving without a license, an arrest following a car chase, a lawsuit over his alleged role in a bar fight and charges for resisting arrest after he was confronted by police for suspected marijuana possession, per ESPN’s Paul Kuharsky.
