Naanee....Not a good way to start!

You can't tell me that no one on this team can catch better than Naanee. I have not seen him catch a pass yet and I've seen at least 6 bounce off his hands.

It's nice to see Daniel Thomas with a good run and some run blocking. Tannehill with some very accurate passing. Not too shabby.

That was a nice hit to cause a fumble. The kicker recovered the ball. Lol.

If a calls like that happen Week 1 and cost teams games, this league will be in trouble

And Matt Moore gets sacked again, wasting the fumble opportunity.  I swear, he'd be on his way out if Garrard wasn't injured.

A better WR sells that better though too. You have to try to come back to ball through the DB so that it's clear PI. He faded away from the ball and made it a tougher call.

I'd blame the left tackle for that. As soon as the ball was hiked, the LT got beat and Moore had no time.

 Easy call the ref missed. CB never turned his head. Nothing to sell.

I'm not sure that's a PI call with the regular refs. People are gonna blame the replacement refs for everything.

Still, Moore didn't step up in the pocket.  He never does.  That's why he got sacked so many times on this field on Thanksgiving and ultimately cost the Dolphins that game.

I'm telling you if Devlin comes in and plays well, they may very well go with Tannehill, Devlin and Garrard to start the season.

Ben Volin just reported that a team source told him it is highly unlikely they are trading Matt Moore. They feel they need the best backups in the league.

Jeff Fuller can pack his bags.  Just committed a knucklehead holding penalty that wiped out a nice run by Lamar Miller, then shudder on a block that caused Miller to lose yards on 3rd and 1.

Moore out, Pat Devlin in.  Him and Lamar Miller are making a case to be kept around.

I got no problem keeping Matthews, Fuller and Cunningham. Get rid of Naanee, Moore and Wallace. At least the rooks have a chance of getting better. Gates is not even in the conversation.

Just remember, Philbin will be looking at some  other team's castoff receivers as of Saturday morning.  That's one thing all these players on the bubble have to realize.  Just because you still have a job Saturday morning doesn't mean you will be on the roster for the Houston game.

That's true, but these guys know the offense. You can maybe bring in 1 guy and teach him a few plays to get him ready for week 1, but you can't bring in 2 or 3 guys and teach them the offense in under a week. Just don't see it happening.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.  He picks up a Green Bay receiver, no need to teach that guy the offense.

It's Mike Sherman's offense, not Joe Philbin's but you're right to a point. Still don't think it's a simple as you make it sound.

Matt Moore's final stats for this game:  4 completions on 12 attempts with three sacks, a pick six, and a miserable 12.2 quarterback rating.  And Philbin wants to keep this guy around??

7-11 having a little more difficulty staying open against a real D.

What's wrong with Devlin?

Moore is absolutely atrocious I would rather Devlin be the backup how the hell was he better than The henster last year. Man that is sad.

One bright spot.  I saw Jonathan Martin working at left tackle in the third quarter and he played reasonably well.  Probably because that's his natural position.  Again, if Jake Long battles injuries all season, don't be surprised if the Dolphins let him walk this offseason.  His replacement is ready to go.

So, Devlin as the back-up, right?
