Don't know if he is hurt or not. Surprise move though

If he is not hurt, grab him.  He's better than any tight end on thus roster.

He caught 75 balls last year! He can obviously play. Must be hurt or a personality conflict

Sorry, the Dolphins can't get Winslow.  Jeff Ireland and Joe Philbin have clearly stated that they only want players of the highest character on this team.

...haha, just kidding!  We all know that's total BS.

So when's Winslow coming in for a workout/signing?

If Ireland and company are going to pick up a TE, I'd much rather it be Winslow.  Every rookie QB's best friend in the passing game is a good TE.

No, you see, Winslow is not a West Coast Offense-style tight end, so Miami just can't make use of him.

I mean, Brandon Marshall was drafted by (and made the Pro Bowl under) Mike Shanahan, the offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl champion 1994 49ers.  But if that's not a sufficient pedigree, then Winslow's time spent in CLE under Belichick's flunkies (or Butch Davis', if you prefer) and in TB with Steve Mariucci's coordinator from Detroit certainly won't qualify him as WCO-ready, either.

...just kidding!  We all know that was also a totally BS excuse.

Spider, you can't go around making sense. Sooner or later, someone might accuse you of admonishing the character of our high standing GM.

The word around Tampa was Winslow doesn't take direction well and bitches like crazy when the ball isn't thrown his way.  I don't think I'd want him in Miami, but I'm not going to take a hard stance on it either.

You know, this "character" thing is getting completely overplayed. I agree that you can't have a team full of divas, criminals, wife beaters, junkies, and heaven forbid loud mouths. Outside of Bess, name somebody who would compete with Winslow for the ball. If you bring him to get the ball, get him the damn ball. He gets the ball, he doesn't bitch.

Cut Moore and sign Winslow and/or Cooley.

Winslow was cut because he refused to take a pay cut.

Winslow was cut because he refused to take a pay cut.

All the more reason to bring him in.

He is in New England today for a work out, per radio reports on WEEI this morning.
