Title: Re: Michael Clarke Duncan Post by: Dave Gray on September 03, 2012, 11:11:58 pm Though I liked him as an actor, I don't really love any move he's in. I guess I liked Sin City.... ....but not a huge fan of Green Mile like so many.
Title: Re: Michael Clarke Duncan Post by: MaineDolFan on September 05, 2012, 08:59:28 am I LOVED "The Whole Nine Yards."

Duncan absolutely WAS John Coffee! -EK Title: Re: Michael Clarke Duncan Post by: Dave Gray on September 07, 2012, 11:51:59 am I just remember it being very long (which is normally OK), but I didn't connect with the characters or the story. I haven't seen it since I was in the theater, but I remember the bad guy having no motivations for being as mean as he was.
Title: Re: Michael Clarke Duncan Post by: Sunstroke on September 07, 2012, 03:27:29 pm Gotta agree with EK on this one... I loved the 6 books in The Green Mile, and by the time I was done reading it, John Coffey was one of my favorite characters. When the movie came out, I was worried that they would butcher it, but Michael Clarke Duncan absolutely nailed Coffey's personality, Hanks was dynamite as Paul, and the supporting cast was amazing. |
