- I don't have a clue who at least 50% of the people they talk about on TMZ are.....

- Having to Google,Gangam style,to get a joke or parody....

- Explaining what a Cassette tape,or Record, god for bid an 8 track...

- I think of the 90's has the last decade :-[

I used Google to try and find a list of things that kids graduating high school never knew. SDtuff like a phone booth, record player.... Have seen lists like those floating around the Net, but could not find one updated. They really make you feel old.

I had a bartender too young to remember Nirvana as anything other than past history. That one hit me pretty good.

My 25th Bday last week made me feel a little old.

Listening to 80's & 90's on Sirius.

Realizing that had I played a professional sport (outside of NASCAR), I would already be or retiring this year. I'm older than Peyton Manning & Kevin Garnett. But am younger than Tiger.

The 25th anniversary of the release of Bad. Wow...I remember making my mom get that for me. On cassette.

I remember the entire family gathering around to watch the World Premier of that video.

staring at college girls assets and realizing I can't just go grab one and be like AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR, Bitch and then throw her over my shoulder and take her to watch trains or whatever.

My younger friends make me feel old.  I have the unique situation of growing up with the same group of kids pretty much my whole life.  Our parents still live in the same place, so I see them pretty regularly.

My buddy Chris is about 5 years younger than me.  When we were young, that was a HUGE difference.  When I was 15, he was 10.  I was 18, him 13.

Now, he just turned 30.  Our age difference is nil.

Anytime I look up a movie on imdb to find out how old it is. I just looked up Happy Gilmore to see that it is 16 years old.

When you discuss stuff around "younguns" like Polaroids, cassette tapes, or pay phones and they have no clue what you're talking about.

When you realize there are people who have graduated college who were born in the 90's...

I watched the iHeart radio music festival last night and saw Aerosmith play a set. Wow, did they look old. They all looked like grandpa's.

- Meeting someone,and realizing I'm old enough to have fathered them.....

- College women give me that stop looking at me you dirty old man sneer...

- Adding to "younguns" cassettes,VHS tapes,etc... Explaining to them,I graduated high school pre-windows 1995,back then we had to take typing class on typewriters

- Referring to someplace by what it used to be 10+ years ago....I confuse people at work with this constantly.

Yeah. In my mind, they've always been old.

Yeah, they have, they were popular in the 70's, but they looked like wrinkly old senior citizens now.  One guy had a full on head of grey hair.  They weren't THAT old...

I was reading an article just about a month ago that stated that some High School freshman this year and next were born in the year 2000.

That made me feel ancient.

High School freshmen are 12 years old?

The ones who turn 13 at the beginning of the calendar year will enter HS next September.  My bad...
either way it makes me feel old as fuck.

For me, it's whenever I hear a song from my youth on the classic rock station.  Now they're playing Nirvana and Foo Fighters....goddamn.

When I turned 29, I felt pretty old. (Am still 29.)

When I'm in court, I feel kinda old. Especially when prosecuting those individuals who are slightly older than me.

Thinking about life insurance, health insurance, car depreciation, and the mortgage interest deduction from taxes, rather than NCAA football, "how late do you have to work tonight, so we can hang out thereafter," the next paper due, new movies, etc, etc, etc.

Wondering about how many more years before retirement (that just happened recently). THAT makes me feel old.

I really don't see how. At 29 you have a long time until retirement. It should make you feel old when you think about it and realize you only have a year or two.

Good topic.  Recent things that have made me feel old.  Okay, not just feel old, but to realize that I AM old.
1.  Stumbled across a blurb in the newspaper listing the top 10 pop songs on the chart this week.  Not only did I not know any of the songs, I only recognized one of the artists.
2.  The fact that I read the above referenced article in a newspaper and not online.  Only old people like me read actual newspapers anymore.
3.  While strolling through a couple antique stores with the wife a couple weeks ago, I kept seeing toys from my youth.  In an antique store!  WTF. 
4.  Getting home from a "wild night out on the town" at about the same time that I used to be just leaving the house to go out for a night on the town.  Related note: Waking up in the morning at about the same time that I used to be getting home from going out. 
5.  I have become totally invisible to women under 25. 

Going to a Hooters for some wings and seeing the girls who look like 7th graders and feeling like a pervert.

Blame it on the pitchers of beer.

Things that make me feel old...
realizing that the Cardinals are in the NFC West and playing a divisional game against the Rams.

My brain still wants to put them in the NFC East with Dallas/New York/Philly/Washington.

Don't even get me started on the Seahawks switching conferences. :D

I feel old when I have a busy weekend and I come home and fall asleep early on the couch.

Also, I feel old when I realize that the TV shows I now watch (news, mostly, but also history stuff) have advertisements for catheters, life insurance, reverse mortgages, erection pills, etc.  I used to see a bunch of commercials for cereal.
