Title: The Real Reason The Jets Won
Post by: Fins4ever on September 25, 2012, 01:14:45 pm
An article from Armando of the Herald. Agree that they failed to see Miller was doing a better job than Thomas.

I noticed that during the game. Might turn out as good or better than Bush. But definitely better that Thomas.

Miller may be our best RB...

Thomas, who our esteemed  ::) GM moved up and traded a draft choice away to get.

Ireland just has ZERO sense for offensive skill position players. His misses far outweigh any hits he's had.

The article makes some very good points.

Why doesn't it mention the bad defense in the 4th and OT, though?

Thomas is quickly getting a rep for an injury proned fumbler. If the Fins re-sign Bush, he is a goner.

Ah, another Ireland hater. Thomas had a great college career and many thought he was a steal. Getting hurt in his rookie year was unforeseen, but he was leading all rooks in rushing when it happened.

I don't recall the details of the draft. What did Miami give up to move up?

As a whole, Ireland has had some hits and misses and has had to change directions from Parcells to Philbin. My favorite Ireland move....signing Reggie Bush. Most hated move. Not signing Eric Winston in FA to play RT.
