This is a small gesture and I am not going to read alot into it. But not every team gave and Ross is starting to get it. Remove the orange carpet, don't chase players who just sell tickets but don't help ya win (ie Tebow), let his football people make football decisions, that its ok not to write a blank check just to get the sexy name and its ok to just get a "football guy" like Philbin. He is listening to the fans, showing up at fan tailgates, and getting their feedback.
It took a while but Ross doesn't scare me anymore as much as he did when he first took over. |
