Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 01:57:51 pm Why isn't thigpen returning these punts? Did I miss something? When we are going to receive a punt DEEP inside our own 20 they use Bess because he has better hands. No chance of a run back when we field it inside the 20 so they always use Bess in those situations Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 01:58:24 pm Ok, Tanne is looking worse the more he plays. Maybe they are kindred spirits. Take Henne and replace the HE with a TA and you have a TANNE...... Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 02:04:25 pm Nice TD drive by Tannehill.

Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 02:38:05 pm Mike, I "showed up" defending Bush and what was a spectacular run, and you started with the juvenile antics, AGAIN. How is me saying good things about Reggie showing up when things are bad?
Still awaiting your excuse for the defense there as well. -EK Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 02:39:11 pm Defense is playing well today. Can't be upset with only giving up 7pts in a half
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EDGECRUSHER on November 25, 2012, 02:51:31 pm Is our run defense so good because it's good, or is it because we just play for the run and let our secondary get crushed? No QB should be 15 for 19. Not Peyton Manning or Brady or Rogers.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Cathal on November 25, 2012, 02:51:36 pm Pass rushers need to learn how to tackle a quarterback. Seriously, every time they whif, the QB hurts us.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 02:52:34 pm Is our run defense so good because it's good, or is it because we just play for the run and let our secondary get crushed? Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Cathal on November 25, 2012, 02:52:38 pm Why don't we have such simple plays that we call in short yardage? That's play calling. Nothing like what we do.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: badger6 on November 25, 2012, 02:53:50 pm Defense is playing well today. Can't be upset with only giving up 7pts in a half It's funny you mention. Shredded? One big missed tackle led to a big play. Other than that it was dink and dunk stuff Some of you people really exaggerate stuff. Still 14pts as we are about to head into the 4th quarter isn't an awful day ::) Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 02:55:28 pm Wilson was 6-6 on that drive if I counted correctly. The secondary is awful. No excuses. No cherry picked BS stats. They suck and Seattle's QB looks like the better rookie out there right now. Robinson didn't have a guy within three yards of him on that play. -EK
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: badger6 on November 25, 2012, 02:58:19 pm Yep, shredded to bits. Dink and dunk don't matter. We didn't stop em, that's all that matters. They even tried to help us out with a few penalties if I remember correctly. Our pass defense sucks donkey ass !!!
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EDGECRUSHER on November 25, 2012, 03:01:40 pm 16-20 for 179 Yards with a 9.0 AVG and 2 TD 137.3 QBR
That's not really dinking and dunking. That's shredding. Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 03:04:30 pm Hartline was the protector on that punt formation. Probably a fake until Seattle called Timeout
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 03:04:59 pm Well, it's no 11-17 for 97 yards, no TD and one pick, but it is good. -EK
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Cathal on November 25, 2012, 03:08:26 pm If the defense doesn't get a pick-six or some kind of turnover for points, we are in a lot of trouble.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: badger6 on November 25, 2012, 03:11:05 pm Can't tell from my choppy stream but it looks like a bunch of empty seats in the stadium today. If so, can't say I blame 'em too much.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Fins4ever on November 25, 2012, 03:11:53 pm Hi everyone, a close game as most expected.
Not sure what I have missed here, but have been watching the game. Couple of thoughts... JP seems to have cut down on the penalties. Fields rocks! Thomas was having a great day, why take him out. Bush also running well. Lynch is going NO WHERE! Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Fins4ever on November 25, 2012, 03:13:30 pm Can't tell from my choppy stream but it looks like a bunch of empty seats in the stadium today. Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Cathal on November 25, 2012, 03:22:13 pm Stupid decision by Tannehill. Lucky that was a penalty even though it probably shouldn't have been a penalty.

We scored in spite of ourselves Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 03:24:48 pm Tannehill gets lucky and the INT is offset by a roughing call. Thomas had a nice plunge there. -EK
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Fins4ever on November 25, 2012, 03:25:29 pm Seattle got a bad call on that penalty. The rules are messed up.
Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: hordman on November 25, 2012, 03:28:08 pm Seattle got a bad call on that penalty. The rules are messed up. I agree. Tannehill has regressed as the season goes on. The avg knows not to their that pass and yet he does. Seriously there was massive pileup in the middle of the field and he throws that? Bd decision making and that's what he had in collge Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 03:29:17 pm Who was he looking for? Fasano? Matthews? Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EDGECRUSHER on November 25, 2012, 03:34:44 pm We may have the worst offense/special teams in the league after we tie the game or take the lead. I am sure there is a stat for that somewhere.
As far as Tanny regressing goes, NFL defenses figured out how to cover Bess and Hartline(#3-4 receivers that are #1-2 on our team by default), so now he has no one to throw to. Doesn't excuse that endzone INT though. That was all him. Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: hordman on November 25, 2012, 03:35:05 pm Did that seriously happen? 98 yards? Wow... -EK He loves to do it to the Fins, he did it when he was a Jet Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EKnight on November 25, 2012, 03:35:52 pm Another GREAT run by Bush. Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: EDGECRUSHER on November 25, 2012, 04:01:32 pm OH MY GOD A CLOSE WIN WHERE WE CAME FROM BEHIND AND WERE MORE CLUTCH THAN THE OTHER TEAM!!!!
Screw the Jets, this was the biggest win of the season. We were outplayed all game and then we dominated the 4th quarter on both sides of the ball(sans special teams), Tannehill showed great poise and even Dan Carpenter was clutch. Huge win. Carpenter keeps his job for one more week! Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 04:02:07 pm All Tannehill? Wtf? Just stop talking. He had an INT gifted away from him and blew for most of the game. -nice win IN SPITE of Tannehill, but certainly not BECAUSE of him. -EK Like I said, can't say anything positive. Leads 2 TD drives and a game winning FG drive in the 4th quarter and you can't say anything nice about him EVEN TODAY!! Fireman EK!! You live up to the name Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 04:03:51 pm Tannehill stepped it up and showed why he was drafted so high. He finally put it on his shoulders and marched down field. All on him. Good showing. Yep, Game Ball to Ryan TannehillTitle: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: el diablo on November 25, 2012, 04:04:27 pm So, did anybody else order a smoked Seminole with a side of Seahawk salad this weekend?

You live up to the name In your haste to prove EK wrong you seem to forget that Henne looked good in a few games also. If not for that travesty of a roughing the passer call on the Tanne interception, we would have lost this game. So while you give Tanne credit for a good 4th quarter to win the game. Other people might see the bogus roughing call and the previous 3 quarters of pure fucking suckitude that Tanne had in the game and not be so quick to praise him. In the end I give Tanne just as much credit for this win as Henne got for any of his wins. However, I don't want a win, I want some fucking consistency. Until Tanne is consistent he won't get automatic approval from me as being the next "messiah" of Miami like some people did with Henne. Oh the wonderful, incredible irony- most of the same people who lambasted Tebow for sucking ass through three quarters last year and having great fourth quarters, with the criticism of "it's the whole game that matters," now want to praise Tannehill for one good quarter after being piss poor for the rest of the game. -EK Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: Pappy13 on November 25, 2012, 04:26:07 pm If not for that travesty of a roughing the passer call on the Tanne interception, we would have lost this game. Bogus roughing call for a forearm to the head? That was the correct call. Yeah it saved Tannehill from getting picked on a bad pass, but it was the correct call. And I'm telling you straight up Badger6 that if EK would just shut the hell up about Tannehill, MikeO and I wouldn't feel it necessary to call out EK everytime. We are MORE than SICK of his constant negativity regarding Tannehill so were just giving him what he has brought on himself. If you or him don't like it, then go post your negativity in another forum. We'd be more than happy to just watch the games and not have to give commentary on Tannehill every game, but we didn't bring this on, EK did. And don't even tell me we did with all the positive articles on Tannehill because last I checked this WAS a Dolphins fan forum, what else do you expect but positive posts about the Dolphins? Go check the Jets forums for negativity on the Dolphins.Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: badger6 on November 25, 2012, 04:40:33 pm Bogus roughing call for a forearm to the head? Yes, we won the game and that makes me happy, but no Tannehill didn't really do shit until the 4th quarter and that is not good enough for me. You wanna lick Tanne's jock strap because they won a game by a FG on a last second play, go ahead lick away. What you call negativity, I call reality and I like to live in reality. Everyone is welcome to their opinion, so let EK have his opinion. And by the way, no I will not go post on another forum. I will post whatever the hell I want right here, go bully someone else. Also brought up was the fact that Denver's defense was playing great and keeping the games close. Of course none of that mattered to you, all you saw was Tebow winning. Now you are attacking RT for doing the same thing Tebow did. If Tebow was a winner for doing the same thing last year in your eyes, why not the same for RT today? Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 05:30:16 pm That roughing call was questionable at best, uh no its not. Cut and dry, you can't hit a QB in the head. Period! It was the right call Title: Re: Live Blog Seattle Seahawks Post by: MikeO on November 25, 2012, 05:31:10 pm Now you are attacking RT for doing the same thing Tebow did. It was the right call 4-5 people in this very thread seem to think that the Seahawks got the shaft on that call. Doesn't matter anyhow, it's just a technicality. Tanne threw a horrible pass that had nothing to do with the penalty and it was intercepted in the EZ. He still threw the pass and made the mistake on his own, he just got lucky. 9 out of 10 times that penalty won't happen. Who's to blame then ? |
