Title: Cowboys DT charged with DUI manslaughter Post by: Landshark on December 08, 2012, 04:39:26 pm Just saw on the ESPN ticker that Cowboys DT Josh Brent was involved in a car accident that killed one of his practice squad teammates. Toxicology reports determined Brent was legally drunk.

And Stallworth was reinstated by Goodell.
However, with Stallworth fault was not as clear cut (the victim was partly to blame) and Stallworth was a model citizen post-accident and had no prior DUIs. Brent has a prior for DUI. And will be facing the Texas criminal justice system. It is quite possible even absent any suspension for the NFL that by the time he gets out of jail his playing days will be over. I'm shocked the Cowboys haven't suspended him. What a disgrace.
