Title: Ravens -vs - Pats..The Rematch!
Post by: miamid45 on January 13, 2013, 08:02:58 pm
WEEK 3:

RAVENS 31         PATS 30

The Ravens ammassed over 500yds of offence, while the Pats over 400yds.

Look for more of the same, just feel that Ray Lewis is on a mission and looking for that 2nd ring to head into retirement.

Should be a good one, with Gronk out, the line shouldn't be more than  6.5.

Last year, the Ravens were a blown call on a touchdown pass and a missed field goal away from reaching a Super Bowl.  Let's see if they can overcome that this year

It was week 3.  Both teams have evolved considerably since then.

You really can't draw much prediction from two games played 3 or 4 weeks apart.  It could be a high scoring game or it could be a low scoring defensive struggle, really no way to tell.

But you have two teams both of whom are playing very well right now.  I see the line favoring NE, but not by much.

Gronk out hurts NE, but it isn't like NE hasn't won its fair share of games without him this season.

I think NE should play a pound and ground game with short passes on offense.  Keep a Raven's defense which has played a ton of downs over the past two weeks on the field as long as possible.  That strat won't get you 400 yards on offense but could wear the hell out of an already beatup defense.
