Let's get it done already. I want the cleanliness, the simplicity, the quietude of spring training, and, of course, of early April baseball, where the games don't matter quite yet, the players are fresh and excited, and the crowds are mainly composed of folks who want to be there, rather than bandwagoners and hooligans.

Probably the worst $200 Million payroll team in history due to all of the terrible contracts the Steinbrenners signed. How's that A-Rod deal working out for you?

I could see that for "this season," but this will be the only season they do that. They are just making sure they don't have many contracts on the books for when 2014 rolls around. They only have about 4-5 guys signed for 2014 right now, and I may be highballing that figure too.
