Brittney Griner may very well have that choice: be the best or at least one of the best WNBA players or sit on the bench for the Dallas Mavericks only playing in the pre-season and garbage time (but selling more jerseys than any other reserve player in the NBA) My advice is she should be the best player in the WNBA rather than be an NBA side show. She couldn't make a roster on her merits alone -- it's not even a matter of talent. It's that she's not big or strong enough for that particular position.

And for the few minutes of garbage time you play, you will be playing in front of more fans in one game than an entire WNBA season of obscurity.
