Title: Over-Under on Tannehill and Wake Post by: Pappy13 on June 29, 2013, 11:53:34 am I was bored and saw these articles from James Walker. I'm taking the over on both. Tannehill might be a stretch, but I think Miami will play from the lead more often this year than last and that will force teams to throw more and give Wake more chances.
How about you? AFC East Over Under on Cameron Wake (http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/60764/afc-east-overunder-cameron-wake) AFC East Over Under on Ryan Tannehill (http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/60742/afc-east-overunder-ryan-tannehill) Title: Re: Over-Under on Tannehill and Wake Post by: MikeO on June 29, 2013, 12:12:20 pm The Wake one is tough. The Fins changed so much on defense this offseason I don't know what they will be this upcoming year. Will it be better? Worse? I don't know so thats a tough one.
23.5 for Tannehill is close. I think he will go OVER 23.5 total touchdowns if you count the TD's he runs for. But strictly TD passes I might go UNDER actually. Especially he might have a bigger year but his sack total comes down because Jordan's on the other side. I'm taking the under.
I see Tannehill somewhere in the 3500 yard/25 TD pass range so I'm taking the over there. Title: Re: Over-Under on Tannehill and Wake Post by: yuppi on July 25, 2013, 09:14:22 am over for both
Title: Re: Over-Under on Tannehill and Wake Post by: Sunstroke on July 25, 2013, 12:42:43 pm Over for Tannehill: I expect a solid improvement from year one to year two, plus an improved WR/TE group. Under for Wake: He'll still have an excellent season, and I expect it to be close...but I see a 12-14 sack season. Especially he might have a bigger year but his sack total comes down because Jordan's on the other side. I'm taking the under. It's a wash. He might get less sacks because of Jordan/Vernon on the other side, but he might get more because the threat of Jordan/Vernon nailing the quarterback from the other side will cause Wake to draw less double teams. |
