Title: Wake diagnosed with mild MCL sprain

His status is currently day to day.  Should be a game time decision

rest him heal up
if we lose him for a game to lighten chances of injury later... im all for it.
As much as I want this game... He's just to valuable to risk, if waiting another week makes all the difference in a better recovery.

Sprain has been upgraded to moderate.  Will miss 2-3 weeks

Sounds like he is out till the BYE week. Back for Buffalo game week 7

I'm very surpised they don't put him in a brace and play him. Three weeks for that is for a girl soccer player. Football players aren't typically sidelined for that.

Wake practiced a little today. He said he wants to play only on 3rd downs and passing downs Monday night. Not sure the coaches agree with this line of thinking

I wasn't kidding about what I said. High school/college football players play with it all the time. Orthos give them a leg brace and send them on their way.

Better he sits now so he can be 100% for the playoff run
