The obvious play is a run play, so the other team is going to send out the run defense package so take advantage of the DBs playing up close and throw the ball. I have seen that Pats do that quite often. And it makes sense to do that if you have a QB named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino etc. Doesn't make much sense if your QB is Jay Fiedler. I was being funny. Fielder was serviceable but certainly wasn't someone who you give the ball to when trying to win the game. That was my point.
