Brees should have been sacked on that TD pass if it wasn't for the obvious hold on our DT. A lot of holding on that drive not called, even the commentator said something.

Wow. If they don't score a TD before the end of the half that's going to be extremely difficult to come back.... Tannehill needs to do something (and Wallace needs to catch).

Defense has done a decent jop on Graham up until that last play. Are paying too much attention to him and letting Sproles kill us underneath. Don't know if we have an adjustment to stop Sproles in this game honestly. Might be a long night.

I'm not sure who's worse, Tanehill or our defense.  They're fighting hard to scrape the bottom of the barrel tonight.

Bree's and Saints aren't doing anything special... they just dinking here and there running screens and wheel routes with occasional play action.  All stuff Miami should/could do also difference is Bree's... he knows where to go and how not to force things.  Tanny good QB but he needs to become a hermit in the film room!

This game is over. Miami isn't coming back. This isn't a horrible loss. Not like the Dolphins were going undefeated and few teams go into New Orleans and win. The Saints are really really good.  Just tip your cap to them and move on.

It's a non-conference loss, not the end of the world. The Ravens game Sunday is much more important.

Same thoughts for me.  The critical call in the 1st qtr with the sweep with Thomas was fockin bone headed and then the TOs from Tannehill are costly and very poor on his part

And finally  Wheeler SUCKS. There is no disputing that.  Either flailing to tackle or falling to the ground the guy got paid because he was the best defensive player on a shitty OAK team. Fock him.

This is what me and my best friend said today... only thing that scared us was lately Miami seems to always pick prime time to play like cr@p!   Looking at Tanny he doesn't go through progressions he looks in direction pass is going and doesn't even glance anywhere else!  He has a lot to learn... he has talent but if he can't make reads and go through progressions he'll never get to that next level!

Sorry but given what's happened in past seasons, this could be a back to reality game for the fish

He is in his 2nd year and I can't think of any 2nd year QB who is "perfect" or has nothing to work on. The Saints are good.....sometimes its not a case of Miami now "sucks" all of a sudden. The Saints are just better. It is what it is

I would also agree with that, there's gonna be up and downs, I still think we finish with a winning record for once and maybe make the playoffs, a few upgrades here and there and we'll be ok, as long as the damn team doesn't get sold to fucking Los Angeles or something.

The only bright spot for me is I got called in tomorrow so that's an extra $116 for me this week

Seems fair to me.  Should have drafted him out of college and missed out on signing him after given a chance to correct that mistake.  If I recall correctly, Jamar Fletcher was the reason why Brees wasn't drafted by Wanny.  That really worked out well.

I just pointed out that he doesn't go through progressions.  That could be by design... if it is then I'm not sure if it helps him or hurts him.  I know they want a quick passing game maybe they gave him a quick high low read to one side?   I know during his drop he looks one way (the play side) and doesn't even glance to other side.  Greer noticed that on the pick and instantly broke on the slant.

West coast is a quick passing game but there are still progressions they may have limited his progressions/reads until they feel he can handle more.

I agree with that to a point... but he did it against the Colts and Falcons and took sacks when that first read wasn't there. He continued to look to play side.  To me that suggests he doesn't know the offense as well as they lead on... if he did he'd know where to go after the initial read.  You rarely see him throw to a check down... he stares down the play side receiver and never looks back side or for a check down.

The TD Bree's threw to Watson was a check down he saw first read was taken away and quickly looked to check down.  I love Tanny but I'm starting to notice his short comings... I think they'll get them fixed it's going to take more time.  It's funny we mocked Henne for always throwing to the check down... I wish Tanny would just look for one.

He has only had 20 NFL starts, positives far outweigh the negatives.....not concerned at all. Still getting better and the future is really bright with him

I know and now understand this more than before... I think I figured he was further along than he actually is!   He's smart and has the tools... just gotta give him time.
