Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 09:36:52 pm 14-3, need a TD now, will not lose faith yet
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Tenshot13 on September 30, 2013, 09:37:10 pm Brees should have been sacked on that TD pass if it wasn't for the obvious hold on our DT. A lot of holding on that drive not called, even the commentator said something.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Cathal on September 30, 2013, 09:38:19 pm Wow. If they don't score a TD before the end of the half that's going to be extremely difficult to come back.... Tannehill needs to do something (and Wallace needs to catch).
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: MikeO on September 30, 2013, 09:38:27 pm Defense has done a decent jop on Graham up until that last play. Are paying too much attention to him and letting Sproles kill us underneath. Don't know if we have an adjustment to stop Sproles in this game honestly. Might be a long night.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: mecadonzilla on September 30, 2013, 09:38:49 pm Some really poor defense all over that drive.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: myami54 on September 30, 2013, 09:40:40 pm Pouncey looking back and down multiple times before snapping is driving me crazy.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on September 30, 2013, 09:40:58 pm Sean Peyton showing Sherman how we should have used Reggie Bush last season... they've tried a few times with Miller but it hasn't clicked yet. We're shooting ourselves in the foot... I still think they blew it when they didn't go hurry up on the 3rd tat was challenged!
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: phinphan on September 30, 2013, 09:41:33 pm Brees should have been sacked on that TD pass if it wasn't for the obvious hold on our DT. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 30, 2013, 10:06:57 pm Down 21-10 after giving away 14 points AND Wallace dropping a 60 yard bomb. I am not thrilled, but I am not crushed and without hope either.
If Nolan Caroll doesn't decide to be a gloryhound asshole and play defense, maybe he doesn't even get a first down. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 10:10:01 pm He sucked for a long time. Yes, yes he has, and I think he enjoys it. Still we are hanging in there, gotta get a TD first possession, after the half. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on September 30, 2013, 10:13:46 pm He sucked for a long time. He was playing pretty good tonight and got full of himself! You don't go for the pick on 3rd and 12 unless you're 100% sure you make it... the angle was terrible! He plays the RB and we give up only a FG and are only down by 7 but he fucking prematurely ejaculates and we're down 11... oh boy smh! Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Tenshot13 on September 30, 2013, 10:14:31 pm Before that TD to Sproles, I was going to say Carroll was having a great game.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: mecadonzilla on September 30, 2013, 10:15:58 pm He swallows Wait a minute?! I won't have anyone disrespect the beauty of swallowing by connecting Carroll to it. Swallowers should be honored and revered in society. ;D Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 10:25:27 pm bad way to start bad bad
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on September 30, 2013, 10:28:23 pm Bree's is going to shred us as long as they keep playing so far off the receivers... we're giving them yds!
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Cathal on September 30, 2013, 10:28:41 pm And you wonder why there is no national coverage of this team. Nothing exciting come out of them. Just not ready against elite teams.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: dolphins4life on September 30, 2013, 10:30:39 pm Can I just say that the suck and swallow joke is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freakin overplayed?
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 10:32:28 pm Blowout in the making.
I'll see you guys again on Halloween :'( Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: mecadonzilla on September 30, 2013, 10:34:01 pm I'm not sure who's worse, Tanehill or our defense. They're fighting hard to scrape the bottom of the barrel tonight.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on September 30, 2013, 10:34:11 pm Bree's and Saints aren't doing anything special... they just dinking here and there running screens and wheel routes with occasional play action. All stuff Miami should/could do also difference is Bree's... he knows where to go and how not to force things. Tanny good QB but he needs to become a hermit in the film room!
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Tenshot13 on September 30, 2013, 10:34:38 pm We need a TD to stay in it.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Cathal on September 30, 2013, 10:34:46 pm Heading to bed. Goodnight y'all. Hopefully it doesn't spiral out of control to much and they don't get typo embarrassed.

Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: mecadonzilla on September 30, 2013, 10:40:35 pm Getting ugly quick. Someone on this team has to make a freaking play.
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 10:40:39 pm I feel this happens every Prime time game, I get all hyped up then in the 3rd quarter just start blasting music. Thank God for Miller High Life.
Love you Dolphins, always. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Tenshot13 on September 30, 2013, 10:42:10 pm Whelp...
Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: MikeO on September 30, 2013, 10:42:54 pm This game is over. Miami isn't coming back. This isn't a horrible loss. Not like the Dolphins were going undefeated and few teams go into New Orleans and win. The Saints are really really good. Just tip your cap to them and move on.
It's a non-conference loss, not the end of the world. The Ravens game Sunday is much more important. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: hordman on September 30, 2013, 10:43:02 pm Heading to bed. Goodnight y'all. Hopefully it doesn't spiral out of control to much and they don't get typo embarrassed. Same thoughts for me. The critical call in the 1st qtr with the sweep with Thomas was fockin bone headed and then the TOs from Tannehill are costly and very poor on his part And finally Wheeler SUCKS. There is no disputing that. Either flailing to tackle or falling to the ground the guy got paid because he was the best defensive player on a shitty OAK team. Fock him. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: mecadonzilla on September 30, 2013, 10:43:11 pm Turn out the lights. The party's over.

Thank God for Miller High Life. Love you Dolphins, always. This is what me and my best friend said today... only thing that scared us was lately Miami seems to always pick prime time to play like cr@p! Looking at Tanny he doesn't go through progressions he looks in direction pass is going and doesn't even glance anywhere else! He has a lot to learn... he has talent but if he can't make reads and go through progressions he'll never get to that next level! Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: dolphins4life on September 30, 2013, 10:51:04 pm Sorry but given what's happened in past seasons, this could be a back to reality game for the fish

It is what it is I would also agree with that, there's gonna be up and downs, I still think we finish with a winning record for once and maybe make the playoffs, a few upgrades here and there and we'll be ok, as long as the damn team doesn't get sold to fucking Los Angeles or something. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: dolphins4life on September 30, 2013, 10:57:58 pm The only bright spot for me is I got called in tomorrow so that's an extra $116 for me this week

Should have drafted him out of college and missed out on signing him after given a chance to correct that mistake. If I recall correctly, Jamar Fletcher was the reason why Brees wasn't drafted by Wanny. That really worked out well. Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: DenverFinFan on September 30, 2013, 11:50:14 pm GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!

Doesn't get any sweeter.

I just pointed out that he doesn't go through progressions. That could be by design... if it is then I'm not sure if it helps him or hurts him. I know they want a quick passing game maybe they gave him a quick high low read to one side? I know during his drop he looks one way (the play side) and doesn't even glance to other side. Greer noticed that on the pick and instantly broke on the slant. West coast is a quick passing game but there are still progressions they may have limited his progressions/reads until they feel he can handle more. He continued to look to play side. To me that suggests he doesn't know the offense as well as they lead on... if he did he'd know where to go after the initial read. You rarely see him throw to a check down... he stares down the play side receiver and never looks back side or for a check down. The TD Bree's threw to Watson was a check down he saw first read was taken away and quickly looked to check down. I love Tanny but I'm starting to notice his short comings... I think they'll get them fixed it's going to take more time. It's funny we mocked Henne for always throwing to the check down... I wish Tanny would just look for one. He has only had 20 NFL starts, positives far outweigh the negatives.....not concerned at all. Still getting better and the future is really bright with him Title: Re: Live blog @ New Orleans Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on October 01, 2013, 12:11:40 pm He has only had 20 NFL starts, positives far outweigh the negatives.....not concerned at all.
