Title: Expanding playoffs, cutting preseason Post by: MikeO on October 10, 2013, 08:02:31 am Aside from the Hard Knocks thing the owners at their meeting the owners/league also want to go to only 3 preseason games and add a team from each conference to the playoffs by 2015. And possibly have playoff games played on Monday nights. Including possibly of at least one Conference Championship game on a Monday Night.

Every year 11-5 or 10-6 teams get left out of the playoffs. Only once (that I can recall) did a 7-9 team make it in, and that's because they won the division. Its not like taking in 2 more teams is going to bring in a bunch of 4-12 teams. I don't think it is a problem at all.
