Title: Players questioning Mike Sherman Post by: Landshark on October 29, 2013, 09:19:29 pm This is not good. This is the early stages of the coaching staff losing the locker room.

They are right to question him, he sucks. They ran for 130 yards in the first half and then stopped running. Only an imbecile would call for that.
I'd rather them complain now and try to fix it then Week 8 of NEXT year. Title: Re: Players questioning Mike Sherman Post by: Cathal on October 30, 2013, 07:53:07 am I'm fine with them questioning Mike Sherman. Hell, we all (mostly everyone, just to cover my butt) question Mike Sherman.

Blame who they want, it is probably more about execution than anything. Execute a blah play with excellence and it has a solid chance of being a good or great play. We simply aren't good enough to do the little things right with any degree of consistency. He isn't working around weaknesses and when something is working he goes away from it. I mean we just needed to run 3 times vs the bills, make them use their timeouts on defense, punt and have them move the ball 70 yards and kick a FG...instead we are passing? WHY??? That isn't being aggressive that is being stupid! Especially when your o-line is horrible. Vs New England we are running through their defense up and down the field in the first half, come the 2nd half we ran the ball a handful of times? HUH?? Makes no sense. Miller and Thomas were averaging around 5 ypc vs NE, until they stop it...run it down there throat! And don't get me started on the Ravens game where we didn't try to run the ball at all. Baltimore is sacking and getting pressure on every play and we do nothing to keep them honest? Run the ball some so they can't tee off. This is a classic example of a guy calling plays thinking....well they expect this so I'm gonna do that. He is out-thinking himself. |
