Title: Food for thought... Post by: mecadonzilla on November 08, 2013, 02:11:13 am My opinion on this subject is mostly I'm embarrassed that this scandal is the only reason why our team is being talked about by anyone. Instead of being taken in by daily changes to the story, I prefer to reserve judgement, however, I thought this was an interesting take on the topic. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9939308/richie-incognito-jonathan-martin-miami-dolphins-bullying-scandal
I'm not saying I agree or disagree with it, but it's food for thought. Title: Re: Food for thought... Post by: EKnight on November 08, 2013, 08:04:45 am Bravo! -EK
Title: Re: Food for thought... Post by: masterfins on November 08, 2013, 11:13:44 am Excellent essay. There is a lot of gray area in this controversy, and many varying points of view; it would be nice just to have a 30 day cooling off period.
Title: Re: Food for thought... Post by: Sunstroke on November 08, 2013, 03:36:36 pm I just want the truth of the situation. The complete, unadulterated truth. I don't want Incognito's friends and teammates opinions, because they not only aren't relevant to how I formulate my own opinion, but I can't apply any validity to their accuracy or their righteousness. I want hidden camera footage (maybe from a mechanical eye like in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode) of all the pertinent situations. All of the "this is what's right..." and "this is how it's supposed to be..." crapola that is propagating a thousand stories a day on ESPN just makes me want to slap some bitches and say "Yeah, but what is the fucking truth??" I agree. Ted Wells can't start and finish this investigation soon enough. Got a feeling we might not have the truth till the season is over though. Title: Re: Food for thought... Thanks for bringing a little originality to the table. Title: Re: Food for thought... Come on .... it was a slow pitch right over the plate, how could i not take a swing at it. Title: Re: Food for thought... Post by: MikeO on November 09, 2013, 07:58:37 pm Jay Glazer sat down for a 1-on-1 interview with Incognito (now know why he was in LA) that will air on their pregame show Sunday morning. We will get his side of the story then.
