Title: Bengals Ravens Post by: dolphins4life on November 10, 2013, 05:35:05 pm I want to hear your opinions on the conversion after the Hail Mary
Do you go for the tie and overtime? Or do you go for the win right there with the two point conversion. I would choose the latter. Title: Re: Bengals Ravens Post by: MikeO on November 10, 2013, 05:58:02 pm I kick the point and play overtime. The big question is in overtime going for it on 4th and 2. Try a long FG. or Punt. The way the Bengals defense was playing (holding Balt to around 160 yards through 4 quarters) I would punt. Odds are they aren't getting too many yards, you force them to punt deep in there territory and you then have field position with a fresh set of downs. Hell trust your defense. They got ya 5 sacks, 2 INT's and a fumble recovery. Totally shut Flacco/Rice and the Ravens down.

Title: Re: Bengals Ravens Post by: masterfins on November 10, 2013, 10:50:11 pm I'd love to see a team go for two, but Spider's right, the coach would be villified if they went for it and didn't get it.
Title: Re: Bengals Ravens Post by: Brian Fein on November 11, 2013, 04:29:59 pm Not even Belichick would have the balls to go for two after the lucky horseshoe went up their ass.
But, if there were ever a time to do it, it would be then. With the defense screaming at each other and stunned at the last play... Only Belichick or Payton have the stones (and the job security) to even think of going for two there. Mike Shanahan tried it in 2008 against the Chargers after Hochuli's blown call. Mike Tice did against the Saints with the Vikings in 2002. Title: Re: Bengals Ravens Post by: Dave Gray on November 11, 2013, 04:58:37 pm I think it only makes sense to go for 2 if you're clearly the worse team and are trying to steal a win on the road.
