You mean no more filling up a rookie's car with popcorn? Dammit!

That might still be allowed, if no damage is done to the car.

Well, OK then.

Gotta be careful though, because if the player, like Martin, is half black and half white and you fill his car up with caramel corn, it can be considered a racial slur...

I know that was meant as a joke.

But seriously as I read the policy caramel corn would be going to far.  That stuff could melt and damage the interior of the car.  Once you start pulling pranks that is going to cost money to repair, you have crossed the line.

Would you drive a car with oil and butter all over the seats?   Didn't think so.  That's a helluva detail job.

I was assuming airpopped unbuttered and unsalted.

Even so, that's still a hell of a detail job.  All the junk (kernel husks, broken bits of popcorn) that is normally at the bottom of a bag of popcorn will be all over the car.

Now if the NBA could only teach their refs how to recognize when a player commits traveling.

Just in case you are unfamiliar with the popcorn story...

Actually there is one important fact that mitigates.....the car was given to this rookie by the person who pulled the prank.

If I go out and buy a new car and someone else damages it by filling it with oily popcorn -- i have a valid reason to be pissed.

Someone gives me a car as a gift and then fills it with popcorn, I am still ahead so it is merely a prank.
