Title: ESPN First Take Post by: MikeO on November 18, 2013, 01:26:43 pm Stephen A Smith this morning reported that he has been told that Mike Shanhan was never in love with RGIII. Shanahan wanted to stay at #6 and draft Tannehill in that draft. But Daniel Snyder fell in love with RGIII and pulled the trigger on the trade to get him against Shanhan's wishes.
Now, Stephen A. Smith is the source but I did find this interesting. Title: Re: ESPN First Take Post by: BigDaddyFin on November 18, 2013, 01:27:58 pm Wrong forum...
Title: Re: ESPN First Take Post by: MikeO on November 18, 2013, 01:39:39 pm Wrong forum... It's about Tannehill so I thought it went here. But if your panties are in a bunch about it being in the "wrong forum" they can move it. ::) Title: Re: ESPN First Take Post by: Doc-phin on November 18, 2013, 02:26:25 pm I don't believe it.

What Shanahan does is totally different from what Miami does and they have a better run game. Chances are Tanny might have blossomed there... Shanahan's scheme is different than our's... he's adjusted it to fit to RG III's skill set. Title: Re: ESPN First Take Post by: MikeO on November 19, 2013, 09:54:34 am That's stupid! Probably why he wasn't thrilled with RGIII. |
