Defense was lights out so I give it to them.

Tannehill with over 300 yards today to become the most in one season for the Dolphins since Dan Marino.  I swear I can't wait to see him with an O-line and running game.

Tannehill. Another 300 yard game for him

Tannehill. I would liked to give it to the defense, but they faced Geno Smith and Matt Simms. So, 3 points allowed is about right. Tanny actually faced a good defense. In the offseason, he definitely needs to work on his deep throw accuracy, but the tools are there. On pace for over 4,100 yards despite being sacked the most in franchise history.

Offense: Tannehill & his WRs, all three main target, Hartline, Wallace and Clay had big days.

Defense: Ellerbe and the secondary, coverage sacks.

My game ball goes to Clay.  I know he can be inconsistent, but his play has far exceeded my expectations.  His route running, and his running after the catch have improved since the start of the year.  Tannehill had good numbers, but they could (and should) have been better.  His accuracy on long balls with wide open receivers is an issue.   Hit one of the long throws and the game ball is his.

Really hard to pick one player out, it was such a dominant performance overall.

Mine goes to Ellerbe, with an honorable mention to Hartline.

After reflection, mine goes to Hartline.  I've never been a fan of Hartline, but I think the time he spent last year as the #1 receiver helped him improve to be a solid #2 receiver.  At this point in his development if he played for NE or Denver he would be tearing it up.

Hartline.
