Thanks to the Bengals loss, if Miami wins their last 2 games, they are in the playoffs. Baltimore has to play Cincy one more time, so if they win out and so does Miami, all 3 teams will be 10-6. Baltimore would win the North and Miami would win the Wild Card based on tiebreakers.

No excuses or scoreboard watching. We win the last two and we travel to Indy, Baltimore or Cincy.

also if Baltimore beats NE. New England would be 10-5 going into the final game, and if buffalo shocks New England, it would eliminate the patriots from the playoffs. Miami would win the east, Baltimore would win the North and Cinci would get the #6 seed.

I can think of no more unlikely event in the NFL than Buffalo beating New England in Foxborough.

Seriously, name any other result that you think is less likely than that.

Never implied that it is likely, just a possible scenario.

Sorry, I was referring to game results, not ways to get there.  Otherwise, I'd categorize "Ronnie Brown throws 8 TDs to beat KC in week 17" as a significantly less likely event.

I think even if the Fins split these last 2 games they are in. I think Baltimore will be lucky to win 2 out of the last 3.  I don't see it happening. If they win tonight (currently losing as I type this) then maybe they win 2 out of the last 3....but they better win tonight!

The Jets game at home I don't see the Fins losing. I can't see Geno Smith beating Miami....he is a terrible QB and our defense will eat him up again like we did a couple weeks ago.  And the Jets secondary is maybe the worst in football I think our WR's will eat them alive. Not much is gonna change from that last game we played them.

The Buffalo game this week is tricky. It's a tough match-up for the Fins.  It's gonna be ice cold, they can run the ball while Starks/Soliai have been bad this year. If they can run with enough success and open up play action passes to Woods and Johnson then it might be a tough game for Miami.

And he then promptly turned around and threw a pick in the end zone in the playoffs that sent the Giants on the path to upsetting the Patriots in the Super Bowl.  My point is this: In a high pressure situation I woukd not want Romo behind center

The way I see it if we can't win these 2 games we don't deserve to be in the playoffs. I was hoping at the beginning of the season that we would be at least mathematically alive at this point of the season, and we are !

I had a dream the other night - Dolphins in the playoffs, offense on the field, Pouncey & Clay voted to the Pro-Bowl. Don't know the result of the game, or who it was against...

Not sure if this is a good or bad omen. Good dream though. ;D

Someone pulled the fire alarm at the team hotel at 3:15 am or so according to reports. Woke the entire team (and hotel up) up for a while. Fire trucks came and it was a big to-do for a little while while things were sorted out. Total false alarm and someone playing a prank.  Some players were tweeting they couldn't get back to sleep though.

I think we win today and next week.  Hope our corners hold up though.  Playoffs here we come!
