Title: Rex confirmed not-fired Post by: Spider-Dan on December 30, 2013, 01:17:40 pm http://www.newyorkjets.com/videos/videos/Jets_Locker_Room_Exclusive_Rex_Retained_as_Coach/ac9d869a-d78d-410a-b819-055f06ccf75c
I am happy to see Rex stay. He keeps the Jets comfortably irrelevant, and (yesterday notwithstanding) he's generally more easily beaten than his predecessors. I love it! Title: Re: Rex confirmed not-fired Post by: MikeO on December 30, 2013, 06:43:10 pm Rex keeps his job but no contract extension......not really a vote of confidence....lol
Title: Re: Rex confirmed not-fired Post by: EDGECRUSHER on December 30, 2013, 07:42:39 pm Rex got a 1 year extension, basically same scenario as this year.
Jets go 8-8 and they dump Gatorade on their coach. Miami goes 8-8 and they are about to fire everyone. At least we can take solace in the fact that the Jets are goddamn stupid. Title: Re: Rex confirmed not-fired Post by: Spider-Dan on December 30, 2013, 07:46:36 pm NYJ went 8-8 with two meaningless wins to end the season, while MIA went 8-8 with two playoff-qualifying losses (to BAD teams!) to end the season. That's why the Jets' coach is getting drenched in Gatorade when the Dolphins' coach is drenched in his own cold sweat.
