Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Sunstroke on January 02, 2014, 05:18:31 pm ^^^ Sounds like running game temperatures to me...which is exactly what I expect SF to do, pound Green Bay's weak run-D...which is even weaker than normal without Matthews. When GB tried to stop the run in our regular season game, Kaepernick ripped them a new one through the air. I'm predicting SF has over 250 yards rushing in this one, with both Gore and Kaepernick (a Wisconsin kid) eclipsing the 100-yard mark. They lost their two best defensive players, one from the front-7 and one from the D-backfield and still almost held on for a win on the road in the playoffs. Not bad for a team that went 2-14 last season. I pray that Miami can be so fraudulent next season. When you blow a 38-10 lead in the 2nd half of a playoff game....and you get knocked out of the playoffs your season was an utter failure. If KC lost 17-16, hey you could play the good season card, nice little turnaround. Once they went up 38-10 in the 3rd quarter....when you BLOW that lead, you can't say it was a good season. Their season went up in flames and the season is a failure Let's break down KC's season, beat the Houston, Bills, and Browns when those 3 teams played their 3rd string QB's (oh, and KC almost lost all 3 games...scores were 17-16, 23-13, 23-17).....they beat Oakland twice (big deal)....beat Jax, Wash, Tenn and the Giants (again big deal). Their only "decent" wins were Dallas and Philly way back in Weeks 2 and 3!!! Oh, and KC ended the season losing 6 of their last 8!!!!!!! Their losses this year, SD (twice), Denver (twice), Indy (regular season and playoffs)........so pretty much every decent team they played beat them and KC went 2-4 in their own division this year. I'm sorry they are 100% a fraud! And blowing a 38-10 3rd quarter lead (no injury excuses either at that point, if it wasn't an excuse to get that lead it can't be an excuse when you blow it).....just cements the fact they are a fraud! You can't have that in today's NFL. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 04:49:38 pm Freezing beer requires serious cold Cold enough to freeze beer and to bring the pets inside. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 05:27:26 pm So far Aaron Rodgers has done nothing in this freezing cold. Frisco can move the ball but can't finish drives. 6-0 Niners at the end of one.

Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 06:55:12 pm You still have to give the Packer's defense credit for keeping them in the game.
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 06:58:10 pm ^^^^^
Now I can see the cold is starting to get to the Niners Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 07:01:43 pm I don't care who you are. Cold is cold. And its only getting colder.

Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 07:04:40 pm What a play by Mr. Discount Double Check. That was amazing. Reminds me of a couple of college quarterbacks. Green Bay will at least tie this game barring some calamity. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 07:18:46 pm That was pure, unadulterated execution.
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 07:29:07 pm The scores are coming faster now. Tied at 20 with 5 minutes left and Frisco about to get the ball
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: MikeO on January 05, 2014, 07:35:37 pm SF in that spot where they want to score but not score too quick. That can be tricky sometimes. Can't get too cute
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 07:41:28 pm And that was an example of adulterated blitzing. Gotta know your role.
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: dolphins4life on January 05, 2014, 07:47:02 pm What a game and what a freakin weekend
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 07:47:26 pm Congrats to the Niners for playing TEAM football. Congrats to Green Bay for showing up.
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 07:47:50 pm Niners win on a last second field goal. Both EK and myself have laid a goose egg this weekend
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: MikeO on January 05, 2014, 07:48:50 pm Chiefs, Philly, Bengals, Packers. -EK Heck of a weekend! Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: el diablo on January 05, 2014, 07:49:54 pm Niners win on a last second field goal. Both EK and myself have laid a goose egg this weekend At least you didn't talk yourself out of a 3-1 weekend. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: MikeO on January 05, 2014, 07:58:34 pm SF is one of those teams that do what they do, home or road don't matter. That is the ONE team that Seattle wants no part of.
And if SF gets to the Super Bowl it will take an "A" game by Peyton Manning to beat them. Not sure any other AFC Team could beat them on a neutral field Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: miamid45 on January 05, 2014, 08:25:53 pm ....and Dalton proves once again he sucks. No drive..nothing.
Kapernick was amazing. Tannehill needs to follow this guys intensity. That's how you play QB in a cold and hostile environment. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: MikeO on January 05, 2014, 08:39:20 pm ....and Dalton proves once again he sucks. No drive..nothing. He's terrible. Guy is just awful in the playoffs. He had 3 INT's two years ago in the playoff loss vs Houston. Last year he threw for only 127 yards (most came late in garbage time) in a playoff loss vs Houston as well as 1 INT. This year 2 INT's and a lost fumble. He just sucks! Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Tenshot13 on January 05, 2014, 08:55:03 pm Did y'all see how close that FG was to being blocked? The ball went between his arms at the elbow.

Andy Reid > Marvin Lewis Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: MikeO on January 05, 2014, 09:01:38 pm Andy Reid > Marvin Lewis It's no battle of champions Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Landshark on January 05, 2014, 09:30:26 pm It's no battle of champions It's not but at least Reid has won a few playoff games and appeared in a Super Bowl. Lewis hasn't won a single postseason game as a head coach. Not one. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Sunstroke on January 05, 2014, 09:50:19 pm I'm glad my 49ers kept me from getting the prediction goose egg this weekend. Predictions aside, I'm just glad that SF won that game. Green Bay played us tougher than even I expected. It just gets tougher from here...a trip to Carolina. Panthers beat us by a single point in our home stadium in week 10, though we didn't have Crabtree or Aldon Smith back at that point. Still, Carolina's defense gave Kaepernick fits. Hopefully we can sneak out another road win on this playoff run. Also pulling for the Saints to beat the Seahawks, just so we can get one final playoff game at Candlestick. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: EKnight on January 05, 2014, 10:41:30 pm Niners win on a last second field goal. Both EK and myself have laid a goose egg this weekend Brutal weekend. Better luck next week. -EK Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Spider-Dan on January 05, 2014, 11:42:49 pm The NO-SEA has some serious revenge potential for the "Beast Mode" game a few years back (when SEA was 7-9, everyone was trashing them for being a division winner with a losing record, then they beat NO and "legitimized" themselves).
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Tenshot13 on January 06, 2014, 06:43:51 am Looks like el diablo and I got the most right at 3-1.
Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: Tenshot13 on January 06, 2014, 07:00:57 am Did y'all see how close that FG was to being blocked? The ball went between his arms at the elbow. Just read an article that the Packers player was offsides, so if he blocked it they would have moved it up 5 yards and kicked again. Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: dolphins4life on January 06, 2014, 12:56:23 pm Not if the refs missed the call. And if there was no flag then they did

All you this past weekend. I changed a pick before Sunday. Damn Packers. Oh I didn't see that. Then yay me. I always see everyone on here going crazy to prove people wrong and prove themselves right, even going to the extreme to prove a point with their argument. So in saying that.... Nanana boo boo, I'm better than all of you you. ;D Title: Re: Wildcard Predictions 2014 Post by: EKnight on January 06, 2014, 04:37:07 pm ;D Oh I didn't see that. Then yay me.
