Title: Shame of the Game - Green Bay
Post by: JGreenMachine on October 12, 2014, 04:21:26 pm
Coach Philbin.  He had Green Bay on the ropes on that last drive.  The crowd was pumped and the defense was into it.  He had to fuck up the tempo by calling a timeout with 1:07 left.  What a fucking moron.

He better polish his resume because I don't see him on the Dolphins sidelines next year

It's tough to see the game outside of the lens of that last drive, when the coaching staff totally imploded.

Until the last MIA and GB possession, I was having a tough time with whether I would even give a SOTG.  But the last drive was just an embarrassing exhibition of coaching ineptitude.  I'm not sure if that's on Philbin or Coyle.

The defense.

Then again, it's virtually impossible to play defense in today's nfl.

Philbin was atrocious in this game, for sure.

I'll give it to him

Coach Philbin ... no doubt about it. Both ours and their final drives was poor coaching.

I wish Oakland blew us out 2 weeks ago, that way we would've had a new coach on the sidelines today.

It obviously goes to Philbin for forgetting he doesn't coach for the Packers anymore.

This one is Definitely On the COACHING ::) ::) ::)

WTF were you all thinking calling all those timeouts  to give Green Bay time to set up.

Tannehill, whose 80-something passing yards and 2 INTS in the first half seem to have been forgotten by Phins fans because he looked good in the second half against the Packers back-up secondary. News flash for the RT lovers- if Sam Shields and Tramon Williams don't get hurt in the 3rd and not return, Tannehill looks just like he did in the first half.

EK for shamelessly trying to blame the loss on Tannehill when he had his team up by 7 in the 4th quarter and getting nobody to bite. You get an E for effort, but a K for a swing and a miss.  >:D
