Title: Lesson to take from the Lions game Post by: dolphins4life on November 09, 2014, 05:09:58 pm Be more aggressive.
I don't care if it was fourth down and five inside their own territory. Go for it. Even if you fail, you still give your offense a chance to get the ball back with more time left. Same with the Packers game. I knew that if they kicked a FG it would bite them and they would lose. This team is so predictable. If they fail in those situations then they lose.

However, I strongly disagree with the OP. You don't make it on that 4th and 5 and you just lost the game. You leave the opponent in FG range down by 3 with over 2 minute to go 20 yards to beat you. Make them go the distance and hope your defense makes a play. Title: Re: Lesson to take from the Lions game Post by: dolphins4life on November 23, 2014, 08:40:44 pm another application today. I would have gone for it on fourth and seven when it was 28-25
