I'm assuming that if Miami gets Suh, they aren't keeping Odrick, so is there any chance that Miami could switch to a 3-4 with Suh in the middle between Wake and Vernon? I have a feeling that Jordan would make a better outside LB then defensive end and I'm not convinced that Misi is a middle linebacker in a 4-3. I'm not certain that Suh could play nose tackle in a 3-4, but I'm not convinced that he can't either.

Thoughts?

I don't think it matters whether Miami plays a 4-3, or a 3-4, Suh is the type of player that makes everyone around him better because the opposing team focus' on him, making it easier on his teammates.

Now Miami has no room for error when it comes to the draft, because they have little money to spend on free agents.

Per multiple reports Fins are on the phone to all CB's and Safety's. Looks like Fins are gonna upgrade the secondary via free agency

News breaking this afternoon the Fins are heavily pursing OLB/DE Brandon Graham of Philly

I am not sure how he would fit in. He has played DE in a 43 and OLB in a 34. Are we looking to get rid of Wake or are they thinking he can play OLB in a 43? I'd be worried about moving him to OLB in a 43.

Brandon Graham began following the Fins and Giants on twitter today. PFT reporting Fins and Titans are his final 2 with the Giants in the mix.

Don't be shocked if Miami signs Graham....if they cut or trade Cam Wake. Not saying it will happen, just saying don't be shocked.

The move wouldn't make sense. Wake is a far more productive pass rusher. It would make more sense to use Graham to replace Vernon, but both of our DEs are solid. Why mess with a position that isn't a need?

I agree but this might just be about salary more so than productivity. I don't see them moving Wake anyway, just wouldn't be shocked that's all if something like this happened

Who the hell knows with him. He can't be trusted to stay clean. I don't think you pencil him into any spot and just see if he is eligible come September

Sometimes these moves are made not for the immediate needs, but for the future. Wake is getting older and has started to show his age. I think it's time that Miami looks at replacing him. I'm not saying they should, but they should at least think about it. If Miami thought Graham was a decent replacement, I would have had no issues moving on from Wake. He's not the man he was 2 years ago.

I would be pissed if Miami dealt Wake. C.Wake has to stay in Miami, him and Suh will make a perfect duo. If anything trade fucking D.Jordan to Philly and Chip Kelly. Release Wallace or trade him, he's def overpaid and has no chemistry with R.Tannehill

John Clayton on ESPN  is saying when Revis is officially cut the Fins will be in on him and will make a pitch.

Not sure how they can afford him honestly, but Clayton is reporting it. I think Revis ends up back in NE

Fins chasing CB Brice McCain. He did have 3 INT's though and  a TD in a few starts.

Brice McCain was rated the worst CB in the NFL in 2013 according to PFF. In 2014 he was a little better. His 3 INT's last year 1 was off a tipped pass, 1 was off an overthrow by Dalton, and the third was off Bortles.

No, it was in an article I read on him.  ::). They have these things called NEWSPAPERS where they pay people to write on things. Part of the article was how last years numbers for him were misleading because they were "luck" INT's and not him making a play on the ball

Per Armando and Omar the Fins are pretty much done in Free Agency. They won't be spending any more big bucks and just want to resign a couple of their own and take fliers on a an under the radar guy or two they have marked.

They are interested in re-signing Matt Moore, Daryn Colledge, and they are kicking the tires on the Patriots offensive guard Dan Connolly who rated 72nd out of 78 offensive guards last year by PFF or some ranking site like that.

It will be interesting if they let Clay walk though if they do make a run at at least one "bigger name" free agent or if they stick to their plan and just look to the draft to finish up their offseason.

If the Dolphins are pretty much done in free agency, that means a youth movement is coming and you can expect growing pains with that.

It also means the Dolphins will be able to roll over maybe about $8 million towards next year's cap.

Well it's settled then. After 2015, it's Tannenbaum's team. New coaching staff. Hickey is gone. This is year 1 of the Tannenbaum experiment. Which might not be such a bad thing, looks like Tannehill and Suh will be the cornerstones to build around.

Suh wouldn't have been available next year, he was available this year and we had to act. This isn't a lost season in terms of not trying to win, but there's no point in "Buffalo Billing" the season by giving huge money to the best guys available even if they aren't that good. Percy Harvin just got $6 Million, Clay $24.2 Million guaranteed in 2 years. Those are dumb moves.

I would rather have Matthews start at WR than fucking Percy Harvin.

No one is arguing to spend big money, but to fill holes with serviceable players at the very least.

You don't spend tons of money on a new franchise player with the goal being to go through growing pains.

I don't consider Jackson any type of upgrade over Moore.

Better player who will cost less. Total upgrade across the board. PLUS, Jackson can run the read-option. If Tannehill got hurt, you can put Jackson in and not have to adjust the offense one bit. If Moore goes in the game take out all of the read-option plays and the playcalling becomes limited

^^^Their numbers are similar enough that it is a wash. Jackson is the better runner though. Moore has the intangible aspect of already being with the team and having their confidence more I bet though.

I love the condescending eye roll there. You never fail in showing your "superiority". You know exactly what I mean but yet you decide to take the easy way out and attack the least important part or our discussion, the way I worded something on a message board while in a hurry rather than the actual ideas.

Take it with a grain of salt or take it to heart, people really don't care for this style of discourse. On a message board such as this there is definitely freedom of ideas and expression. There will always certainly be opposing positions but the air of arrogance really wears on people and turns otherwise meaningful discussion into pure pettiness.
