Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 21, 2015, 06:08:22 pm Now a leak out that the Fins close out with the Pats week 17. Not sure what leak is accurate. Both from reputable news sources.
Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 21, 2015, 07:55:36 pm http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2015/REG/DOLPHINS
Schedule is out. Week 1 At Skins. Thursday Night AT Pats. First home game Week 3 4 of the last 5 games AT HOME!! NICE!! From Oct 4th to Nov 22nd Fins have 1 REAL home game (Jets game is in London doesn't count) Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 21, 2015, 07:58:09 pm Fins better get off to a fast start. From Oct 25th on its a killer schedule with no bad teams...all playoff caliber teams. Opening with Skins and Jags...gotta go 2-0 there I think
Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on April 21, 2015, 08:23:11 pm Dolphins might not play a single game in snow. Only real cold weather game is at jest
Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: EDGECRUSHER on April 21, 2015, 09:27:04 pm Once again, terrible bye week placement for us.
Last half is just brutal. Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 21, 2015, 11:19:12 pm Once again, terrible bye week placement for us. Last half is just brutal. The London game screwed Miami 2 ways. Only 2 true home games the first 10 weeks. And the Bye Week early on. Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 22, 2015, 09:14:48 am Fins CEO is now stating this morning they requested many road games early in the year.
Not sure I buy it but that is their spin Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: Tenshot13 on April 22, 2015, 09:38:31 am Looking like every year...probably going to start off hot, maybe even 6-0, and then a huge drop off the second half of the season. Hopefully the team is improved enough to beat some of the upper tier teams.

Hopefully the team is improved enough to beat some of the upper tier teams. We will know in about a week after the draft what this team is made of. If they don't improve at least one guard spot in the draft this team has no chance as the blocking up front will be awful....again. And this team will struggle big-time to score points and move the ball. If the Fins plan on starting Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner at guard, I think this is a 4-5 win team. If the Fins plan on starting Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner at guard, I think this is a 4-5 win team. 4-5 wins is pretty pessimistic. I'd say starting Thomas and Turner, we end up like we do every year...7-9 to 9-7. That's what the reasonable side of me says. The homer side of me, which is what I usually go by, says 16-0. There's a 3rd side of me that I don't like to talk about. Don't ask questions. >:D Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 22, 2015, 10:08:56 am 4-5 wins is pretty pessimistic. I'd say starting Thomas and Turner, we end up like we do every year...7-9 to 9-7. Get at least 1 real guard on this team and fix this o-line and I think the sky is the limit with this team. But if we roll out Thomas and Turner at guard this offense will get destroyed and the o-line will be as bad as it was 2 years ago Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: CF DolFan on April 22, 2015, 10:36:30 am Fins CEO is now stating this morning they requested many road games early in the year. They probably did ... just like how Ross had requested later games early on. They refuse to use the home field heat as an advantage. Not sure I buy it but that is their spin I do agree with you about the O-line. I really can't see how they let it go another freaking year without a major upgrade. The odds of Tannehill getting taken out for a good while continues to go up every time he gets hit. The odds of Tannehill getting taken out for a good while continues to go up every time he gets hit. It makes no sense for them to say they requested road games so construction work can get done. Easy to poke holes in that and exposes that lie .. a) They have a home game Week 3, so the stadium is ok for a home game Week 3 but not weeks 4-10? b) The Miami Hurricanes will play multiple home games during Sep and October at the stadium. So the stadium is ok to use on Sat but not Sunday during this time-span? Either the stadium can be used or it can't. This spin the Fins came out with this morning is laughable. Sometimes they can't get out of their own way. Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: ArtieChokePhin on April 22, 2015, 11:16:32 am Either the stadium can be used or it can't. Another reason why Ross is an embarrassment to the fans and the league Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: MikeO on April 22, 2015, 11:23:28 am Another reason why Ross is an embarrassment to the fans and the league I don't blame Ross. Because I don't believe he asked for this. I think that is the spin they are saying this morning to make it seem like they are OK with this. To me they shouldn't have said anything (again Ross didn't say anything the CEO did)....so I don't blame Ross Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: masterfins on April 22, 2015, 02:13:07 pm Jeez, I can't believe anybody is bitchin about this schedule. This is a fantastic schedule for the Dolphins. Finish with 4 of 5 games at home, with the road game being at San Diego. I'd rather play the tough teams at home at the end of the season rather than at the beginning (better chance they are missing players due to injuries or playing soft because they have a spot locked up). The only bad item on the whole schedule is playing @ NE on a short week, but hell that would probably be a loss 85% of the time anyway so who cares. The early season games against weaker teams gives them a chance to build up some momentum.
Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: Tenshot13 on April 22, 2015, 02:21:37 pm After looking at the schedule more closely, I could see MIA being anywhere from a 14 (yes FOURTEEN) wins all the way down to 8 wins. That is a large margin. This is how I plan our wins and losses going...
AT REDSKINS - WIN AT JAGUARS - WIN BILLS - WIN JETS - WIN BYE WEEK A TTITANS - WIN TEXANS - WIN AT PATRIOTS - LOSS AT BILLS - LOSS AT EAGLES - WIN/LOSS COWBOYS - WIN/LOSS AT JETS - WIN/LOSS RAVENS - WIN/LOSS GIANTS - WIN AT CHARGERS - WIN COLTS - WIN/LOSS PATRIOTS - WIN/LOSS Title: Re: Dolphins 2015 Schedule Post by: Fau Teixeira on April 22, 2015, 04:46:29 pm we've never beat the houston texans in the history of known civilization .. is this the year ?

It's about pulling out those close games, something they haven't been able to do. Heck, even 2012 could have been a playoff season. |
