The fans may not like him, which I think is silly, but the coaches think he's our kicker. There is no bubble. This puts him 14th in the league, behind - you guessed it - Dan Carpenter (95.45%). Only 11 kickers were perfect from that range, including 2 that only had 2-3 attempts. Only 7 guys scored more FG's last season than Caleb Sturgis: Gostkowski, Carpenter, Folk, Parkey, Hauscka, Vinatieri, and Bullock. He is tied for 8th in FGM but 3rd in FGA. He missed 8 FG's all year, 4 from 40-49 and 3 from 50+. Leave Sturgis alone, this team has way bigger problems. |
