Title: Week One Predictions: Miami @ Washington
Post by: CF DolFan on September 08, 2015, 10:50:39 am
C'mon ... let's see you guys lay it out there before it happens.

I predict Miami in a breakout game. Mitchell and Wake each get a sack and we run as a team for over 150 yards.

Dolphins 30
Redskins 10

I agree.  30-10, Miami.  Beatdown.

31-9.

I genuinely believe we will come out blazing and beat a really bad Skins team. Of course, losing 30-9 wouldn't blow my mind either because I am an abused Dolphins fan, but I think we win this game easily.

I think they SHOULD win easily but it will be a 1-score game late.

Dolphins 27
Redskins 20

This isn't our normally mediocre Dolphins. Someone must have finally paid off Marino to lift the curse cause we are going to be a consistent top 10 team this year.

Think the Fins D scores a couple TDs against a bad Redskins team.

Redskins only cross midfield once...and Ndamukong Suh arrested in the 2nd quarter for crushing Kirk Cousins' head (with helmet on) in similar fashion to The Mountain crushing Prince Oberyn's head in Game of Thrones.

Miami: 38
Wash:  3
Severely Traumatized Fans: 643, 217

Good.  That means he's saving the American History X curb stomp for Brady.

Ndamukong Suh has eaten burritos bigger than Edward Norton...

Ed Norton got pretty jacked up for American History X. He must know some NFL players...

Dolphins win 4 to 3.
I think you have the wrong sport. Dolphins versus Redskins, not Marlins versus Nationals.

If the defense is as good as everyone thinks it should be Washington will be shut out.

Total beatdown here.  If this game is close, then this team is in trouble

I have a feeling that the Redskins will remain a threat to win it for the entire game simply because we have never really beat down teams that should be easy (except in recent memory, that London game against the Raiders). I think Kirk Cousins will make it a game because the offense seemed to respond better when he was the QB instead of RG3, but he'll have his turnovers.

Miami: 24
Washington: 17

That score is possible. 2 safeties versus a field goal.

Is Miami mathematically eliminated from playoff contention yet?

Washington, 17-14.

This team is so good, they can beat teams they aren't even playing!

The Raiders usually beat themselves anyway.  Not surprising.

Other than the Dolphins being the Dolphins why going against the grain in week one Maine? What do you see that no one else does?

Phins - 27
Skins - 6

I think with that swinging gate Washington calls an offensive line Miami gets 6+ sacks in this game!!!!!

I'd be curious to know if this has been the final score of any NFL game ever.

No, or in NCAA. Closest was 6-4 Penn state (L) v Iowa (W)

Congrats to masterfins as it looks like you were the closest to the 17-10 Dolphins victory.
