Title: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 03:57:27 pm Key game for the fish (mammals) here as the Patriots look like they are on their way to an easy win.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 04:09:42 pm Can't wait for all the negativity...
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 04:13:06 pm Bortles shredding us already, just unreal. Call it what you want. You call it negativity, I call it Dolphins fan reality.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:13:44 pm Well this game started just like the last one did.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:15:54 pm OK. I just turned on the TV and saw a TD but looks like it was overturned. Cool. GOod thing Reshad is back, such a good tackler.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:17:02 pm well let's see how Tannehill responds.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:17:13 pm Bortles 4/4 for 61 yards and a TD? Haha. :-[
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 04:18:35 pm ...and it begins. See you guys at the end of the game when we have definitely stomped them.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:19:41 pm Getting off to slow starts like this is not a good thing, but since it is the Jaguars, they still have a chance
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 04:19:52 pm Bortles 4/4 for 61 yards and a TD? Haha. :-[ Bortles may win the coveted Geno Smith perfect passer rating sweepstakes today. Or he may have just gotten luck on the first drive, YOU MAKE THE CALL, LOL....... Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:21:30 pm Tannehill a tad bit inaccurate on that pass, but got lucky. Good job by Matthews.
They need to stop with that stupid Wide Receiver screen, it just isn't working. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:22:45 pm So Jags march on down for a TD and we come up short. That old man Jennings dropping a perfect pass....
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:23:55 pm Franks makes a huge kick to pass his first test as a kicker.
That is much bigger than people may realize Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 04:25:53 pm I just had an LSD flashback of the Sparano fist pump >:D >:D >:D
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:29:29 pm Do we have a defense?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:29:59 pm can they stiffen here
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:31:25 pm Good, the defense held tight. Only a TD down.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 04:31:33 pm can they stiffen here That's what she said, lol.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:33:00 pm Lol if she was doing a threesome she would say that.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: disappointedyearly on September 20, 2015, 04:35:48 pm Need a good drive here, get the D a little rest, so they can stop making the Jax offense look good.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:37:55 pm They know that they're playing Jax, right? This team is so frustrating to watch. They never get going early.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:43:10 pm big third down here
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:47:05 pm I wonder if Tannehill feels pressure because of how bad the defense is playing now
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 04:53:40 pm Sparano fist pump >:D >:D >:D
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:54:06 pm well they are staying in the game, for now at least.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 04:55:08 pm Why does football seem so difficult for the Phins? I guess at least they were finally able to run more plays than the Jags have first downs, so there's that. Seems like they'll be a second half team again.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:56:57 pm The Pats are getting help from the refs again
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 04:59:43 pm anyway, can they stop this team?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:02:16 pm this defense has been horrible
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:04:58 pm Calling an APB for the Dolphins defense
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 05:08:35 pm $60 mil for Suh and the defense still sucks
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 05:09:06 pm Why does football seem so difficult for the Phins? I guess at least they were finally able to run more plays than the Jags have first downs, so there's that. Seems like they'll be a second half team again. Reflection of the head coach. Coach is dull and show no emotion, so does the team Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: BeanCounter on September 20, 2015, 05:09:39 pm Truly pathetic!
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 05:09:49 pm What the hell's going on? We're getting grilled.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:10:00 pm This is getting so ugly right now
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:15:43 pm Tannehill must have more pressure on him than any quarterback in football
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 05:20:40 pm About damn time...
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:22:31 pm The Washington game taught me not to give up but the defense better make a stop
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 05:27:55 pm How come we don't ever get much YAC like most other teams do?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:33:48 pm opportunity squandered with that missed field.
the Dolphins get the ball first in the second half Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: ArtieChokePhin on September 20, 2015, 05:34:19 pm (https://imgflip.com/i/rcll7)
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Pappy13 on September 20, 2015, 05:36:27 pm $60 mil for Suh and the defense still sucks I told you it was too early to claim this defense would be improved. If anything it's worse. There's no pass rush to go along with no run defense.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 05:37:17 pm That was truly pathetic by the Dolphins defense but shows once again how special teams swings a game
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 05:37:45 pm I can't take Philbin anymore. He is so lost out there.
Save us Urban Meyer!! Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 05:38:13 pm That was truly pathetic by the Dolphins defense but shows once again how special teams swings a game How the F' did special teams swing the game? The pass interference call is the big play on that drive Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: ArtieChokePhin on September 20, 2015, 05:39:17 pm I can't take Philbin anymore. He is so lost out there. Save us Urban Meyer!! Ummmmmm no. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 05:39:32 pm On the bright side, the Redskins won today against a good Rams team, so maybe they weren't as terrible as I thought.
That's all I got for positivity. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 05:41:37 pm Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 05:57:47 pm We need to somehow play an entire quarter for practice so that we stop digging ourselves into a hole, it's just completely unacceptable at this point.
Still, excellent drive by Tanny and everyone else. Now the defense has to step up and not allow another 20 points to the goddamn Jaguars. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 05:58:39 pm I don't know who the hell Jake Stoneburner is, but I like him!
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 06:08:52 pm Walt Atkins is beyond terrible
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 06:14:17 pm Our O-Line sucks, let's stop doing slow pitches 5 yards behind the line. They're not working. Keep throwing until it stops working,
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:15:00 pm 3rd and 15, throw for 2 yards! Nice call!
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 06:15:38 pm The announcers are tearing apart Lazor for that stupid play call, mentioning how bad and depleted Jacksonville's secondary is. Basically, we are doing them favors by doing stupid shit like that.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:15:54 pm Walt Atkins is beyond terrible Who the hell is Walt Atkins?Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 06:18:09 pm Who the hell is Walt Atkins? the starting safety ::) Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:18:46 pm Lazor should look at what Jax is doing when you need more than 3 yards.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 06:29:55 pm Juwuan James is just killing us.
On the bright side, if we keep getting penalties that means we will finally abandon the stupid run and just keep throwing it. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:36:50 pm Where's our pressure? Where's Wake?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 06:38:07 pm Where's our pressure? Where's Wake? injured. not playing Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:39:45 pm injured. not playing What happened to him? I don't think I was drunk during last weeks game, lol.....Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:39:57 pm I guess you don't need a D when Jax drops all of their passes. ;D
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:41:50 pm Man, the offense is falling apart here.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 06:43:29 pm What happened to him? I don't think I was drunk during last weeks game, lol..... he was hurt all week. Where have you been? Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:43:43 pm Landry! Come on man! Need both hands on it. Damn. This game is way too close, not that it wasn't expected.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:46:47 pm he was hurt all week. Where have you been? Been all hopped up on pain killers and muscle relaxers, lol. I got a pinched sciatic nerve, probably get an MRI this week.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 06:47:13 pm Okay I will say one negative thing. Our defense sucks at fundamental tackling.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:49:26 pm If only the defense played like this at the start of the game. But great to see them getting the 3 and outs. The offense needs to capitalize on this.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:51:37 pm If only the defense played like this at the start of the game. But great to see them getting the 3 and outs. The offense needs to capitalize on this. Is it our defense playing better or is it their offense sucking in the 2nd half?Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:55:16 pm Is it our defense playing better or is it their offense sucking in the 2nd half? Good point. I'd say it's probably both. Their offense had a couple of 3 and outs because their receivers kept dropping 1st downs, so, maybe it is more because their offense is sucking. Way to make me feel bad now. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:56:10 pm Good point. I'd say it's probably both. Their offense had a couple of 3 and outs because their receivers kept dropping 1st downs, so, maybe it is more because their offense is sucking. Way to make me feel bad now. Our offense isn't exactly lighting it up or is their defense playing better? HahahahaTitle: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 06:56:28 pm Tannehill is on the trainers table in pain
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 06:56:58 pm Seems like we have a bunch of rookies here. 11 fricken penalties so far? That's ridiculous.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 06:58:48 pm Tannehill is on the trainers table in pain Is it Matt Moore time? Just great. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 07:00:27 pm Are they actually going to lose to Jax? I knew it would be close because this team sucks against bad teams, but I didn't think it would be like this.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 07:02:02 pm Are they actually going to lose to Jax? Yep, time is getting short on us.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 07:04:59 pm The pennies saved on not signing Mathis wasn't worth it
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 07:05:10 pm Damn Odrick... That hurts. Sooooooooo, Jax wins with a FG? Or OT, what does everyone think?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 07:05:22 pm We're self destructing in 3....2.....1......
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 07:07:40 pm All of our most important players are hurt. Albert and Wake are brutal blows, especially because it means Jason Fox has to play now.
I think our only chance is we get the ball back quickly after hopefully only a FG and march down the field to tie it. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 07:09:03 pm That punt was a lot better than I thought and that holding really helps. Up to mental toughness now.
Yeah, I'm not excited either. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 07:09:26 pm Hopefully the Jax receivers drop everything.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 07:09:42 pm Well, there goes that.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 07:10:17 pm That punt was a lot better than I thought and that holding really helps. Up to mental toughness now. You should be use to the pain by now, haha.Yeah, I'm not excited either. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 07:10:58 pm It takes them about 2 seconds to get open for 20 yards. Wow.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 07:13:13 pm Vernon just cost Fins the game. Jags win
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: pondwater on September 20, 2015, 07:15:33 pm Vernon just cost Fins the game. Jags win Nah, we should have never put ourselves in this position. The whole team lost this game to the jack off jaguars.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Denver_Bronco on September 20, 2015, 07:16:50 pm Jacksonville? You've outdone yourselves once again! Hahaha! howdy stranger, long time no see Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 07:37:13 pm Well, I used hyperbole when I said the season is over if we don't crush the Skins. Now, no hyperbole needed. We are down to wondering who our next coach will be. He has flaws, but I hope we keep Lazor somehow.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 07:40:38 pm Jesus Christ you all are the worst fans in the league. Yes even more than reality denying pats fans. Upsets happen. Not going to give up on the team after one loss.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: CF DolFan on September 20, 2015, 07:41:41 pm Well, I used hyperbole when I said the season is over if we don't crush the Skins. Now, no hyperbole needed. We are down to wondering who our next coach will be. He has flaws, but I hope we keep Lazor somehow. I don't know about that. One of our biggest issues on offense is being conservative. When Ryan gets aggressive he plays well and finds open windows. Once he catches up he just dumps it off. That on the O-Coordinator in my opinion as it seems to happen time and time again. This team has the same mentality of it's coaches and we can't play like that with our weaknesses. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 07:44:58 pm No one said we're not fans. Shit, we may be some of the BEST fans in the league because we are still here despite getting NOTHING in return. We just no longer have hope and there is no reason for us to have any. We would all be happy with a division title, but no one here expects it. Certainly not now, we are still the mentally weak team who can't beat up garbage like Jacksonville.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 07:45:10 pm Offensive line wont' get fixed this year. Thomas still sucks. Albert not even 50%. Douglas plays like a 4th round pick.
Next 2 weeks will be ugly. ELITE defenses will kill Tannehill and eat this o-line alive. Looking at 1-3 heading into the BYE week. Could see Philbin shown the door then. Give an assistant 2 weeks to take over the team and run it till seasons end Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: CF DolFan on September 20, 2015, 07:46:39 pm Offensive line wont' get fixed this year. He won't make it till Columbus day if this season goes south fast Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 07:52:33 pm How bad is Billy Turner that he can't play on this horrible o-line? HORRIBLE pick by Hickey, 3rd rounder on a guy who can't sniff the field
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 07:54:14 pm Offensive line wont' get fixed this year. Thomas still sucks. Albert not even 50%. Could see Philbin shown the door then. Give an assistant 2 weeks to take over the team and run it till seasons end That would be best case scenario. Really, what will 2-2 do for us? Heading for another 8 win season, only thing that will change course is a new coach. Not saying it's guaranteed, but we know Philbin sucks so why stay the same, mediocre course? Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: CF DolFan on September 20, 2015, 07:54:27 pm Wanna bet? Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: mecadonzilla on September 20, 2015, 07:55:00 pm This was a truly embarrassing loss.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 07:55:13 pm What have you seen by Ross that shows he is willing to make the tough decision? He will now. Egg on his face plus Tannenbaum has his ear, not Aponte and Ireland Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: CF DolFan on September 20, 2015, 07:55:53 pm We have a bunch of weaknesses but our oline is the worst. Whoever is responsible should be fired today.
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Finz4eva on September 20, 2015, 07:57:26 pm Maybe Philbin should have taken the ten second runoff instead of giving up a timeout considering there was seven seconds on the clock when Jax made that FG that was given to them with that lousy ass spot by the refs. What happened to the DL that was pushing OLs back in the preseason? Why is Jason Fox our only backup tackle?
Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 20, 2015, 08:05:27 pm We have a bunch of weaknesses but our oline is the worst. Whoever is responsible should be fired today. Hickey improved it greatly the first year but really ignored it this offseason. Using that 2nd rounder on a Defensive Lineman was very strange. Kid could be great, but our biggest need was not that. Hopefully, the new coach and perhaps new GM will make it the top priority in the offseason. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 20, 2015, 08:26:59 pm This was a truly embarrassing loss. I can agree with this. Truly embarrassing. But to mail it in 2 games in the season like the rest of you are saying? That's pathetic. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Cathal on September 20, 2015, 09:09:19 pm I can agree with this. Truly embarrassing. But to mail it in 2 games in the season like the rest of you are saying? That's pathetic. It's not THAT pathetic given this team's history in losing games it should win. If we were the Pats, you might question it but understand they'll bounce back. The Fins have no history of that. Soooooo, that's that. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Sunstroke on September 20, 2015, 09:13:18 pm It's not THAT pathetic given this team's history in losing games it should win. Everything that ever was, still is...and will be again. We live in a stagnant universe. Oh wait, no we don't...change happens all the time. The only thing we can count on is that some fans will boo-hoo over a little adversity and give up two weeks into the season. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 20, 2015, 09:14:07 pm Hickey improved it greatly the first year but really ignored it this offseason. Hopefully, the new coach and perhaps new GM will make it the top priority in the offseason. Juwaun James looks worse every game that goes by. Aside from Landry name a Hickey draft pick that has done anything (will give Parker some time due to injury so won't count that) to contribute? Fede is the only other guy really Turner-Sucks Aikens-Sucks Tripp-Cut Lynch-Cut Thompson-Cut Phillips-4th DT on this team, not a contributor Hazel-never is active or will play Douglas-Forced to play, in way over his head right now McCain and Lippett--Total projects and years away Not saying every pick needs to be a home run, but he isn't adding guys who contribute. Only a couple in 2 drafts. Need more in this league than that. He has definitely had a rough start to this season though. Today was a disaster for him in every way. It's almost scary to think what will happen next week.

But to mail it in 2 games in the season like the rest of you are saying? That's pathetic. The rest of "you?" I'm sure you're not lumping me in with any group as you have absolutely no idea where I stand on the fate of this team because I haven't given any sort of indication here or anywhere else. I haven't been one of the sky is falling crowds in the game time threads. I haven't called for anyone's firing (this season anyway). I just called this loss embarrassing because it was true. I'm still trying to cope with this shameful showing and rationalize this game in some way. Hence part of the reason/problem and the poor result by the defense.

This defense has gone down hill for 4 straight years. It's not Philbin that has been dragging this team down, it's Coyle. The offense has gotten better 4 straight years while the defense has gotten worse. This offense could be one of the best in the league if the defense would pull their heads out of their ass.Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: MikeO on September 21, 2015, 12:24:13 am Maybe we should try listening to Suh because Kevin Coyle can't coach his way out of a paper bag. This offense can't come close to the best in the league with the 2 garbage guards they have and a left tackle who looks out of shape and nowhere near 50% let alone 100%. Throw in a right tackle who is regressing and not progressing. The Fins have above average skill position players but nobody to block for them. And this front office and coaching staff decided to roll the dice on Billy f'n Turner and Dallas Thomas. When Hickey and Philbin are out of work they brought it on themselves. Tannenbaum has a lot of connections with coaches around this league (hell he represented almost all of them as their agent for years).....the next head coach must be the polar opposite of Philbin. Urban Meyer will probably be the pie in the sky guy as Ross loves him and Ross would love to hurt Ohio St by taking him away from them. I would have Jim Schwartz as second on that wish list and go from there. If Albert doesn't play next week (unlikely he will) against the Bills then against another strong defense in the Jets...this season could spiral out of control quick especially with how the schedule lines up. Philbin looks like a dead man walking Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Pappy13 on September 21, 2015, 12:37:30 am This offense can't come close to the best in the league with the 2 garbage guards they have and a left tackle who looks out of shape and nowhere near 50% let alone 100%. The fact they can move the ball at all with the lineman they have is nothing short of a MIRACLE. Yes as a whole they are awful, but they still manage to look good at times. Yes the offensive line WAS ignored this year because they you can't fix everything and they signed SUH and Mitchell to FIX THE DEFENSE, remember? The only unit playing worse then the offensive line is the defensive line. What's THEIR execuse? None! They don't have one. And don't tell me that the defensive line is NOT playing worse then the offensive line. When you consider who they are playing against, they absolutely are. They should be destroying these offensive lines rather than making them look GREAT! It's time we all face the facts that what I have been saying for 2 years is spot on, this defense is just plain BAD and MORE responsible for this teams inability to become a playoff team than the offense has been. They should have replaced Coyle last year. Just about anyone could have done a better job with this defense then he's done. Title: Re: Live Blog at Jaguars Post by: Tenshot13 on September 21, 2015, 06:54:56 am The rest of "you?"
