Title: Game Balls - at Jaguars
Post by: dolphins4life on September 20, 2015, 08:23:13 pm
Tannehill played well today, but nobody deserves a game ball after today

No running game and an iffy oline ... Tannehill by a long shot.

Definitely Tanny. Played very well, but the team is soft and the O-Line is an abomination. James may have had his worst day as a professional.

Kinda tough to give this one.

Tanny 30 for 44 359 yrds 2 TD

Juice 10 110 yrds

R. Matthews 6 rec. 115 yrds.

They kept us in the game at least

Tannehill gets my Game Ball with an honorable mention to Matthews

Tannehill.  And he should also get a special courage award for standing in there week after week, year after year and getting pounded like the star of "Girl Versus World, GangBang 47" because his offensive line is awful.  Every. Single. Year.

The way I see it there are only three options but I'm not giving a game ball.

It's still early. He is very talented, but he was hurt through preseason and it takes awhile to build a repoire with a QB. Parker hasn't done anything yet either, but that could be the O-Line's fault. Quick slant routes are a QB's best friend when he has 3 seconds to throw, not deep passes.

Tannehill was pretty good in terms of not making mistakes.

But I'll go with Landry.  He had the biggest catch of his career and seemed to be the only real source of offense.

Tanny looked good today considering the horrific line he is playing behind.

H.M. Landry and Matthews
