Toward the end he slipped a bit but no kicker is perfect. My fav mare memory is the Fiedler broken thumb game. Den hits a 60 trader and mare goes 61 for the win. In a conversation about kickers losing the game Wanny brought up the Patriots game today where Mare missed two FGs against the Patriots kicking off the Marlins infield ... one to end the game and the other in overtime. He then went on to say he meant no disrespect as Mare was one of the best Dolphin kickers of all time ... if not the greatest.

The fact is Mare missed two kicks that probably changed the course of history. That should put him in there in my opinion.
