Well that sucked!!!

Going to be tough for this team to outscore anyone when they can't establish Ajayi early like this.

Dolphins' defense is holding San Diego to an atrocious 2.5 yards per play, but unfortunately the Dolphins' offense can muster only 3.5 yards per play.

After that drive, that's now 4.9 Chargers to 3.5 Dolphins.

Let's see if anyone has an answer on offense.

Ajayi at 2.4 yards per carry, Landry at 3 yards a reception.

It took about half the season for teams to figure out that you stick eight in the box to stop Ajayi, and cover Landry well, and the Dolphins' offense has no other reliable way of beating you.

On the TV broadcast, it looked like Wake was lined up offsides on the play right after he got called for neutral zone infraction (the sack that didn't count because of defensive holding).

And not only defensive penalties, but ones that involve automatic first downs and sustain drives.

If we keep letting them hang around we will lose this game.

They are also trying to break the record for most third down conversions given up.

Lippett with poor coverage there.  You have to understand how the down and distance situation and the defensive play call will make the quarterback have to throw if the pressure gets in there.  He's playing as though it's 3rd and 15 instead of 3rd and 7.

A true study in how a QB can lose a game for you if he throws enough INTs.

Now thanks to Rivers's INTs, the QB rating battle is 136 to 70 in favor of Tannehill.  I would venture to say that teams that have that lopsided a win in the QB rating battle win more than 90% of the games in the league.

11 penalties for 81 yards today.  I can't even imagine how many of them involved automatic first downs.

Its been 8 years since a 4 win in a row season.

This was an amazingly well-called game on offense.  25 rushes, 4.2 yards a carry.  24 passes, 130.6 QB rating with a YPA of 10. :o
