Congratulations to the Miami Dolphins coaching staff and team players for another winning game against the San Diego Chargers! However, as the Dolphins season starts getting closer to the end, will they or can they remain on a continued winning streak? That's the question that are in the minds of thousands of die hard Dolphins fans! Is this team as great as it's roster? Or is the roster greater than the team? The talent on the team is truly premier and exceeds the expectations! It's time for the Miami Dolphins to become the dominate beast of the AFC on both offense and defense for the rest of the season! No more inexcusable mistakes and penalties! For now, the Dolphins appear to be on a well earned winning streak and have currently caught the attention of the entire NFL! Hopefully the Dolphins won't end up being a complete embarrassment to themselves and their fans!   

I wouldn't consider the talent on Miami's dolphins to be "great" or "premier." I think it is a good team that is being well-coached, and it is resulting in some wins.

Will they keep it up and push for a playoff spot?  I sure hope so, but I'm not holding my breath about it.

A playoff spot is very difficult, if not basically impossible.  That shouldn't even be a measuring stick for anything.  We're playing NFL-quality football, which is a big step, in my opinion, regardless of the season outcome.

It's just bad timing.  We have to either pass the Patriots for the division or catch one of these three AFC West teams that are not only very good, but have the added bonus of playing the AFC South.

The turnaround is enough of its own reward for me and I'm just going to ride the wave.

The Afcw teams still have a bunch of games against each other one of them is bound to fall, the question is will the Dolphins continue to win and get the spot.

They are making stupid penalties and seem to commit turnovers at crucial times in the game (i.e. punter muff snap last game and the punt returner muff yesterday) but the defense has bailed them out.

Can't do that against the upper level teams and get away with it.  They'll take advantage and make you pay.

Fins are still a little rough around the edges but it's nice to see them competitive and winning for once in a long time.

These are unrealistic expectations, even if true.  The Dolphins can't be asked to rattle off 9 wins in a row....even if you're playing the Browns 9 times in a row. 

The NFL is hard and winning games against anyone for a stretch is impressive.  And they're already done that.  Not that it can't continue, but you really have to take it day by day, like an alcoholic.

They have about a 1 in 3 chance of making the playoffs.  While it would be silly to be checking on flights from Mia to Hou, it is too early to give up the idea of getting a wild card spot. You steelers and Bengals still have a shot

Hopefully we get some things go our way, put us in contention for a playoff spot at year's end and one, maybe two of the AFC West teams tumbles.  Crazier things have happened, but I'm glad they're big boy football.

Winning games we normally (always) lose is a good start. With the way the league has been in recent years, maybe we are a playoff team. However, we can miss the playoffs and still be heading in the right direction. While I will always want 15-1 or 1-15, to go 9-7 and miss the playoffs but help change the attitude of this team is a big first step. I wouldn't be too upset with that.

Coaching improvement is reason enough to get excited. Aside from Brady and Gronk, the Pats really aren't that talented yet they are always contenders. So, good coaching can get the most out of what we have too.

We're finishing 12-4...don't know why your all worried about not making the playoffs...:D

For the wildcard spot, I think the key will be that the Broncos and Chiefs still play each other home & away, so the Dolphins would want one or the other team to sweep this series.  If the Broncos were to sweep then the Chiefs would have tough road games against the Falcons & Chargers.  If the Chargers were to sweep the Broncos would have tough games against the Patriots and Raiders, BUT these are home games for Denver.  So the most likely scenario of the Dolphins getting the last WC spot would be to have the Chiefs fall out of the running.

Very good week for the Dolphins' playoff hopes with the Chiefs losing to Tampa.  Miami's O-Line needs to get somewhat healthy again though.

One thing that struck me in the immediate aftermath of the Rams game was that in recent history, it has been the Fins who played the role that the Rams played on Sunday.  In recent history, it has been the Fins who collapse late in games, can't hold onto leads, find some way throw away what should be a win.  It was refreshing to see the team find a way to win in the 4th quarter instead of finding a way to lose in the 4th quarter. 

Right now Dolphins have 45% chance of making playoffs.  Dolphins win rest of games the make playoffs regardless of what other teams do.

If NE loses another game before week 17, MIA controls their own destiny for the division!

That was why this game was so big, and why Tannehill's spearheading that sort of effort was so important.  The most competitive teams in the league have QBs who can do that, and they routinely (not always) pull those games out in the end if need be.

Also, unlike the previous four games, this win involved no such advantage in turnover margin, and so "luck" explanations were off the table.

If Mia runs the table and ne loses one, then week 17 is for the division. 

That's also true if NE loses 2 games and MIA wins the next 5.

Someone pass the Kool-Aid, please.
