Title: Have they finally figured out instant replay? Post by: Pappy13 on December 03, 2016, 10:48:36 pm Is it just me or does it seem like there's been fewer blown instant replay reviews in the last 6 weeks? I think they have finally figured out that if there's no clear evidence to overturn it just let it stand.
Title: Re: Have they finally figured out instant replay? Post by: Dave Gray on December 03, 2016, 11:13:32 pm I've not been paying close attention, but now that you mention it: yeah. It seems like I have fewer major disagreements with replay than I did before. I'm "right" more often, it feels.
I think they still have a few kinks to work out in regard to what's a catch in-bounds vs. out of bounds with "going to the ground" and all that. I think that they hit the sweet spot when the rule was "two feet and a football move". |
