Wow, that's shocking.  I always liked him, too bad it didn't work out in Miami.  RIP

A likeable guy, if not a successful HC.  As I get older (52 now) this is my only fear, that I could die before I get a chance to retire and enjoy life.

RIP.  56 is too young to die.  He was a hard nosed coach.

He seemed like a decent guy even if his field goal celebrations were a little embarrassing.  Very sad news to hear.  RIP, Coach Sparano.

Heartbreaking.  The dude was a good everyday coach.  If only he had somebody to tell him when to go for it and how to manage the clock.

I liked him.  He was a nice person.  When I met him and spoke to him at Web Weekend, he treated the group as equals and gave us respect.  I think that showed a great character.

I wish the best for his family and I'm sorry for their loss.
