I expected this to show up on here, but since it didn't, I'm here to say that I thought it was pretty great.

I think that talking-heads and "Coors Light" play by play is total bullshit anyway, so it was nice to just have it be some kind of different, silly bullshit for kids.

I wouldn't want every game like this, but as counter-programming, I thought it was neat.

I would like to see this idea expanded, where you have a "C-Span" version of the game where its' two super high-level football minds talking about the game without any regard for the common fan.

I didn't watch the nick broadcast but for english soccer they do (or did once upon a time) a version of a game where the 2 guys in the broadcast booth are 2 huge fans of the teams. So there's yelling and cheering and trash talking. it's just just pure greatness.

I'm surprised you didn't bring up Cordarrelle Patterson saying fuck really loud and it being picked up on the refs mic during the broadcast.  Nothing like hearing an F-Bomb on Nickelodeon!

Didn't even know this was a thing.

Pretty smart marketing move by the NFL to start grooming the next generation of fans. 

Oh yeah, I saw that live.

They meant to call something on 85, but the ref said 84 and the player said "84...whathufuuuuck?" and the announcers definitely heard it because there was some stunned silence and it was awesome.

Best thing about the limited crowd noise. I had to laugh when I heard that.
