Title: Miami to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix from 2022! Post by: Downunder Dolphan on April 20, 2021, 09:50:49 pm I thought this would be huge news here, especially as the proposed circuit circles Hard Rock Stadium which could in effect become part of the event:

When the Formula 1 circus was here in Adelaide between 1985-1995 it was the biggest thing in the city between the event itself and all the surrounding support events, and many including myself was very sorry to see it go... I got to start planning myself a trip to Miami ASAP now for two reasons - to finally see my Dolphins play live, and the F1 Street Circuit GP! Actually, did anyone here go last year? I had a friend in Australia who went there and loved it, but read mixed reviews from others in the USA. It seemed to be really divided between the megastars and mega-rich who had a great time, and the regular Joes who found the whole thing underwhelming, a bit fake, and a bit of a rip-off. Post by: Dave Gray on May 07, 2023, 11:47:15 am I saw some complaints about the quality of the track, but I don't know enough about this kind of racing to have an informed opinion.

I can't justify that. As such I didn't even try to get tickets this year... I figure its an event for millionaires, celebrities, and sheiks from Abu Dhabi. What a money grab. Nachos were over $200. You just have too much money if you're doing that.
