broken finger, out today

I know you can't get any velocity on the ball with a broken finger on your throwing hand, so I totally get it about him sitting out today.  But this isn't going to do anything to help Tua's quickly increasing reputation for being fragile. 

Holland is well on his way to becoming a very special player.   I'm talking future All Pro level talent, football IQ, work ethic, discipline, etc. 

Damn, I want a total broken bone count on Tua at the end of the season, haha. This Holland kid on the defense looks good.

Can we officially stop with the "feel-good" of Parlady or whatever the ofck his name is?  Guy is an awful fockin punter.  The dude was waived/released about 6-7 times.  There's a fockin reason for that. Fock we are so bad a player evluation

Jacory Brisquet or whatever his name is an awful QB as well.  That throw to Merritt was not Merritt's fault.  A decent QB can lay a pass out towards the sideline and allow him to make a play.

Flores is to blame for this pickup.  Dude is as slow as mud.  Reid Sinnet was a better option than him.

Another stellar play by Austin jackson.  Completely on his heels at the snap and the DT had a free rush at Brissett for the sack and huge loss of yardage.

I gotta say I'm convinced that not all these OL are this bad. Can it be?  Does the coaching staff take a good bit of the blame for this?  Don't seem like they can be coached up. Doesn't help that our OL Coach is in his 1st year in that position.

Gesicki can catch, we should probably keep him.

Props to Waddle for showing some tenacity and heart on the one Brissett interception where Waddle went up high over the left shoulder of the defender trying to knock the ball away.   It is easy to half ass it when your team only has 1 win.  But Waddle showed great hustle and competitiveness by turning into a DB on that play.  The ball was still intercepted, but Waddle went after it like a man instead of just watching the guy make an uncontested INT in front of him. 

I know, but bones are bones. No one was playing with broken ribs and no QB is playing with a broken finger. I have to see how he got it since it didn't appear to be from a game.

He broke it in the 2nd quarter of the game last week and played through it.  Found out it was just a little bit broken this week. He was planning to play anyways, but it swelled up and he couldn't put velocity on the ball.

Tough kid. Like I said, I get the injury prone tag due to his hip and some ankle issues, but broken bones are broken bones. You aren't injury prone if someone breaks your bones.
