Probably a smart move. Dolphins offense looked good to start the game, but now the OL has settled into performing poorly and will probably get Tua killed again. No chance to step up in the pocket and make a throw. Everything has to come out quick. DEF has made some plays here and there. Did Wilkins actually think he was gonna run 85 yds to paydirt with thet INT? I think this is his 15th or 16th full game now so basically this is his rookie season finale and more games than not this season he has played well. Considering lack of weapons beyond Waddle/Gesicki, his lack of running game due to the O-Lin and of course the O-Line, I think he has done very well this season. Now at 4-7 we get to play the "What if?" game about Tua not getting his ribs broken due to our terrible O-Line and what our record would be. Even if you want to flip it to 7-4, we would be a BAD 7-4 and far from a contender. You can say "We should've beaten the Jags" but it never should've been close to begin with if you are supposed to be a contender. |
