Title: Championship Weekend Post by: ArtieChokePhin on January 25, 2022, 03:59:17 pm David vs Goliath in both matchups.
I'm picking KC to wipe the floor with Cincy in the early game. And San Fran will continue its dominance of L.A. and beat them just like they did in week 18 for the nightcap. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: EDGECRUSHER on January 25, 2022, 04:08:21 pm Sadly, I gotta go with the Niners too. They seem to have lady luck on their side and the Rams choked two of the past 3 weeks.
I do think the Chiefs will pull it out but it won't be a blowout, Joe Burrow won't allow that. I like the Chiefs but the idea of Patrick Mahomes' brother feeling happy with a win doesn't sit right with me. I don't see the niners beating the Rams three times in one season, so I'm going with the Rams.

Oh wait, the Bucs lost last week? Sorry, it still feels like they won to me. Anyway, I'll predict a Super Bowl 54 rematch. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: ArtieChokePhin on January 26, 2022, 04:30:14 pm When are you going to do that, after the game ends?? No but he'll come running onto this site to post a SOTG Super Bowl thread despite the fact that he won't watch the game. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: dolphins4life on January 26, 2022, 08:26:26 pm When are you going to do that, after the game ends?? I'm predicting it now. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: dolphins4life on January 26, 2022, 08:27:50 pm In reality they lost. Get over it. I was expressing the fact that I can't believe the Rams lost after they tried to so hard to give the game away to the Bucs. Thank goodness the Bucs did lose that game. I am still trying to come to terms with it. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: EDGECRUSHER on January 30, 2022, 05:45:01 pm Bengals up 24-21 with 6 minutes left in the game after scoring 21 straight.
I hate both NFC teams so whoever wins I hope wins it all. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: ArtieChokePhin on January 30, 2022, 08:12:45 pm Bengals upset Chiefs in overtime.
I'm willing to bet there will be a Niners/Bengals tri-match Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: ArtieChokePhin on January 30, 2022, 09:42:49 pm Stroke has to be pulling his hair out. Niners had a 17-7 lead against the Rams going into the 4th quarter and totally imploded.
Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: Downunder Dolphan on January 31, 2022, 03:02:17 am Just how lucky are the Bengals?
They were basically gifted wins from stupid coaching decisions by the Titans, and now the Chiefs. Forget about Tanny's INTs and Mahomes massive choke job, if the coaches just took the points they had on offer instead of taking dumb risks they'd have won and the Bengals would be planning for next season. Will their luck continue? Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: EDGECRUSHER on January 31, 2022, 08:35:17 am Just how lucky are the Bengals? Will their luck continue? Hard to find any championship team who didn't have some good luck. If they had bad luck, they wouldn't be there. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: Tenshot13 on January 31, 2022, 09:18:40 am Bengals vs Rams in the Superbowl. That should be a good game, however you have arguably the best defensive line in football going against the most sacked QB in the NFL this year.

That should be a good game, however you have arguably the best defensive line in football going against the most sacked QB in the NFL this year. Usually a recipe for disaster but he made it this far. Plus, Niners literally dropped an INT that would've sent them to the Superbowl. I don't have much faith in Stafford, I have faith in his receivers. It's really a coin flip for me but since Stan Kroenke is evil, I will be rooting for the Bengals. Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: dolphins4life on January 31, 2022, 03:00:59 pm That INT would NOT HAVE sent them to the Super Bowl. There was plenty of time left.
Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: ArtieChokePhin on January 31, 2022, 03:46:47 pm That INT would NOT HAVE sent them to the Super Bowl. There was plenty of time left. That was an easy pick six and would've put the Niners ahead 24-7. A three score game in the 4th quarter would've been too much for Stafford to overcome Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: dolphins4life on January 31, 2022, 04:01:30 pm That was an easy pick six and would've put the Niners ahead 24-7. But is was not an easy 6. He had 65 yards to go with most of the opposing team players between him and the end zone. He probably would have gotten back to the Rams 40ish yard linehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91p5Gj7iX_s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91p5Gj7iX_s) Title: Re: Championship Weekend Post by: dolphins4life on February 02, 2022, 07:43:15 pm That was an easy pick.
